We support young people from underrepresented communities by using fashion as a platform for creativity, cultural expression and positive pathways.

POSTS STORIES REELS

A moment we’ll remember for a long time. ❤️

After months of creativity, hard work and bringing ideas together, our young people finally got to see their designs come to life at our Black History Month Exhibition! 🌍

But one of the most special moments wasn’t just seeing the finished T-shirts…

It was seeing their friends turn up to support them.

Watching our young people proudly explain their designs and celebrate their achievements with the people around them reminded us why opportunities like this matter.

Through our Let’s Design programme, we’re giving young people in Newham the space to express themselves, build confidence and realise what they’re capable of.

A special thank you to @socialarkcio for helping to bring this project to life through their support and guidance, thank you to @tnlcommunityfund for making this programme possible. 🙏🏾 & lastly thank you to the @carpentersdockland for allowing us to use their space.

Thank you to our facilitators, parents, partners and everyone who came down to support.

There’s so much potential in our communities. Sometimes all that’s missing is the opportunity.

And we’re proud to be creating more of them. ❤️

Inspiring the next generation of young minds! 🚀

Our founder, @seidubuilds had the pleasure of visiting Ellen Wilkinson Primary School for Careers Week, sharing his journey as a founder, teacher and the lessons he’s learned along the way.

From exploring different career pathways to gaining real-world industry insights, the aim was simple: to show young people what’s possible and encourage them to think beyond the classroom. 💭

We also brought some friendly competition into the session, with students taking part in an interactive game and the winning team walking away with a prize! 🏆

A big thank you to Ellen Wilkinson Primary School for the invitation and warm welcome. ❤️

Clothing is more than just what we wear. It’s a reflection of who we are. 🌍

This Black History Month, our Youth Board share how Let’s Design has changed the way they see fashion, creativity and the stories behind what we wear🚀

Because understanding your identity can change the way you create💭

Don’t just take our word for it. Hear it from them. 🎤

Our Youth Board sharing what Let’s Design means to them and the moments they’ve enjoyed most.

Their voices are the reason we do this. ❤️

Confidence starts with having the courage to share your ideas. 💭

From presenting his sketch to listening to feedback, every step is part of the creative journey.

Every voice matters. Every idea has potential. 🚀

Every idea has the potential to become something real. 💭✨

Brennan sharing with our young creatives that great design doesn’t happen instantly, it takes time, patience, experimenting and believing in your ideas enough to keep developing them.

Today it’s a sketch on a page. Tomorrow, who knows where that idea could take them. 🚀

Big ideas always start somewhere. ✏️

Give young people the space to create, and watch what they do with it. 🚀

An idea means more when you can explain the story behind it. ✏️

Through Let’s Design, young people are learning how to take inspiration from their identity, culture and experiences, then turn those thoughts into something visual.

It’s not about being the best artist.

It’s about having an idea, developing it and having the confidence to say “this is what I created, and this is why.”

That’s where creativity starts. 🚀
