POSTS STORIES REELS

We like to imagine love as two people choosing each other.

Sometimes it's two people standing at the edge, daring the other to go first.

Sometimes it's a test disguised as devotion.
A challenge disguised as affection.
A silent competition over who will sacrifice more, wait longer, bend further, or break first.

We tell ourselves love is about trust, yet so often it becomes a negotiation of power. A delicate dance between vulnerability and self-preservation. Between wanting to be chosen and refusing to be the one who chooses first.

How much of love is connection?
And how much of it is fear?

A rehearsal glimpse from ARE WE THERE YET?, where love is explored not as a fairy tale or a fantasy, but as something far more complicated—beautiful, absurd, tender, selfish, exhilarating, and at times, deeply destructive.

Because love isn't always "you jump, I jump."

Sometimes it's standing at the edge, waiting to see who moves first.

Step into the weave of tenderness and the absolute madness of love in all its forms.

This time, ARE WE THERE YET..? unfolds within the timeless courtyards of Iqbal Haveli @iqbalhouse1927 — a heritage space layered with memory, intimacy and stories carried through time. The architecture itself becomes part of the performance, holding echoes of longing, beauty and human connection.

This experimental theatre experience is a merry-go-round of emotions: soft, intense, raw, radical and wildly unpredictable. Featuring an original live soundscape created exclusively for the play by @hrsnvd @sunil_michaelmusic

Written, Directed and Choreographed by @sobiazaidi, the first of its kind in Pakistan, ARE WE THERE YET..? bends the rules of theatre itself, dissolving boundaries between actor and audience while weaving together installation, performance art, text art, sound art and origami into one living, breathing world.

Sometimes healing doesn’t look like moving on.

Sometimes it looks like gathering the scattered pieces of yourself, one by one.

The parts left behind by heartbreak.
The parts hidden by fear.
The parts you forgot were yours.

A rehearsal glimpse from ARE WE THERE YET?, where even fallen rose petals have a story to tell.

“Love is so overrated.”

vs

“Love is the most sublime emotion there is.”

Choose your fighter. ⚔️❤️

No fence-sitting. No “it depends.”

Tell us which side you’re on in the comments—and be prepared to defend your position.

🎭 ARE WE THERE YET?
