" I don't mind the sun sometimes and the images it shows." Happy Labor Day weekend and birthday weekend to me. by @aggr0lite

Written by Ed Pickford and first recorded by Scottish folk singer Dick Gaughan Worker's Song is about the working people first and foremost. The lyrics discuss the idea that the worker ends up with the short end of the stick despite the world being built and maintained by their labor. One of my favorite lines is the reference "By hand and by brain to earn your pay" referencing the ultimate divide between those who sell their labor to survive vs those who benefit from that labor to thrive. I have a soft spit in my heart for the Dropkick Murphy version as heard hear, but the Longest John's also does a great rendition. #maxleft #lefty #punk #union #DSA by @aggr0lite
