The Fallout 11/22/25 Last show of the year couldn’t have been better. THANK YOU to anyone and everyone involved in an amazing 2025. We have a special announcement one week from today for our first show of 2026. Stay tuned and all the love from Vulge to you. by @agoraartschicago
Film Series: Mictlan at MADgora Uncaged: Immigrant Benefit Show at Avondale Music Hall, 3/20/2026 It's about time I saw @mictlanhc βŒ›οΈ The 7th and final band at the @m.a.d__productions and @agoraartschicago collab show benefitting @mw_bondfund at @avondalemusichall was a band as evil as their name implies 😈 Even after so many other acts, the crowd was still ITCHING to get after it and get physical πŸ€Όβ€β™‚οΈ An easy way to tell you're putting on a hardcore heater is when the members of the other bands, even after they've played their hardest, still get in the pit after all that effort to get into your set with the rest of dancers and moshers, and I'd say a members of almost every band were throwing down for this one πŸ•ΊπŸ’ƒ I was certainly glad to make it to the very end of the night to catch what was an awesome end to a successful benefit πŸ™πŸ€˜ Thank you to @bellowsfilmlab for devving and scanning all the film from this set πŸ§ͺ🎞 @mictlanhc @m.a.d__productions @agoraartschicago @avondalemusichall @bellowsfilmlab @allmyhomiesshootfilm πŸ“Έ with @canonusa Eos Elan IIe 🎞 on @fujifilmx_us 400 #35mm #concertphotography #livemusicphotography #chicagodiy #beatdownhardcore by @agoraartschicago
Film Series: Durtnap at MADgora Uncaged: Immigrant Benefit Show at Avondale Music Hall, 3/20/2026 Not even gonna try to pretend the truth is any different: if you were at this show you know this was the best set of the whole night πŸ”₯🎢 After 5 sets already performed at the @m.a.d__productions x @agoraartschicago collab show at @avondalemusichall @durtnapchicago took the stage to absolutely melt faces on a Friday night ⚰️😴 I've gotten to catch this act a few times now over the years and I can tell you they only put on BANGERS. @iwantacokeandlargefries is a dawg on the mic, and the rest of the band is tight as hell, but the real star of this show this night was @youngfathermachete who could not be contained from the second the first note was played until he was forced to walk off stage 🀘 what an animal πŸ…πŸ»β€β„ (and a machine on the turntables πŸ’ΏπŸ’Ώ) If you have yet to see Durtnap, figure it out. If you haven't listened to their music yet, figure it out. If you don't fw these dudes, you should re-evaluate. End of story. πŸ“– Thank you to @bellowsfilmlab for devving and scanning the film from this set πŸ§ͺ🎞 @durtnapchicago @iwantacokeandlargefries @youngfathermachete @m.a.d__productions @agoraartschicago @avondalemusichall @bellowsfilmlab @allmyhomiesshootfilm πŸ“Έ with @canonusa Eos Elan IIe 🎞 on @ilfordphoto HP5 and @fujifilmx_us 400 #35mmfilm #concertphotography #livemusic #chicagodiy #hardcore by @agoraartschicago
Film Series: Maldita Sea! at MADgora Uncaged: Immigrant Benefit Show at Avondale Music Hall, 3/20/2026 My second @malditaseachi show of the year was yet another banger πŸ”₯ Dead center of this monster immigrant benefit show put on by @m.a.d__productions and @agoraartschicago was the perfect spot for a cool (and slightly less sonically violent) band to split this evening right down the middle πŸͺ“ I love a bit of theatrics, and so some serious masks and makeup design are always appreciated around here, both of which Maldita Sea! has on absolutely lock πŸ”’ These are good and kind people who make quality music that you should seek out and and listen to. End of story πŸ“– Thank you to @bellowsfilmlab for devving and scanning the film from this set πŸ§ͺ🎞 @malditaseachi @m.a.d__productions @agoraartschicago @avondalemusichall @bellowsfilmlab @allmyhomiesshootfilm πŸ“Έ with Canon Eos Elan IIe 🎞 on @ilfordphoto HP5 #35mmfilm #livemusic #concertphotography #chicagodiy #punkrock by @agoraartschicago
Film Series: Tapeworm at MADgora Uncaged: Immigrant Benefit Show at Avondale Music Hall, 3/20/2026 @tapeworm.hc is cool 😎πŸͺ± This band played 4th on a huge benefit show bill put on by @m.a.d__productions and @agoraartschicago last month at @avondalemusichall and I can't express how much I appreciate when acts play from the floor πŸ”₯ I don't think the instrument cables were long enough for a lot of the band to get past the barrier for this show, but 100% of the time, including in this instance, keeping the frontperson in with the crowd is a surefire way to keep the pit moving πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ‘―β€β™‚οΈ It certainly doesn’t hurt that Tapeworm plays f a s t and with a lot of aggression... that probably had something to do with keeping the pit moving, too, lol 😈 They were not a band who's name I, personally, saw around a lot before this set, but I'm seeing them pop up more and more now, and I'm grateful cuz I can't wait to catch them again eventually, myself 🀘 Thank you to @bellowsfilmlab for devving and scanning the film from this set πŸ§ͺ🎞 @tapeworm.hc @m.a.d__productions @agoraartschicago @avondalemusichall @bellowsfilmlab @allmyhomiesshootfilm πŸ“Έ with Canon Eos Elan IIe 🎞 on @ilfordphoto HP5 #35mmfilm #concertphotography #livemusic #chicagodiy #hardcore by @agoraartschicago
Film Series: Whelmed x Godchain at MADgora Uncaged: Immigrant Benefit Show at Avondale Music Hall, 3/20/2026 I may have missed one band at this big ol' Friday night hardcore showcase, but when the homie @m.a.d__productions showed me this bill, I knew I had to make it out to @avondalemusichall for the benefit show being put on πŸ”₯ I managed to make it just in time to catch all of the @whelmedsxe set which was lighthearted (at least in comparison to the rest of the acts on the bill lol) and bouncy and a great way to start off the night! β›ΉοΈβ€β™‚οΈπŸŽΈ After Whelmed was @godchainband who plays around town, but who I'd yet to catch. Finally getting to see them play was honestly one of the biggest selling points on the bill that got me out to the show on a chilly evening right at the turn of spring 🌱 Congratulations to both bands on great sets!! πŸ™ŒπŸ€˜ Thank you to @bellowsfilmlab for devving and scanning the film from these sets πŸ§ͺ🎞 @whelmedsxe @godchainband @avondalemusichall @m.a.d__productions @agoraartschicago @bellowsfilmlab @allmyhomiesshootfilm πŸ“Έ with Canon Eos Elan IIe 🎞 on @ilfordphoto HP5 #35mmfilm #chicagodiy #livemusic #concertphotography #blackandwhitephotography by @agoraartschicago
