In 2023 we set out to create @ahousewithhearthomes . A place where support, dignity and affordability are found. We focus on providing housing solutions to our communities’ most vulnerable populations; Seniors, Veterans and those with some mental and physical health challenges. In 2024, We housed 45 individuals!! We grew so much this year and we couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to help others and thankful for all the agencies who collaborated with us along the way! 🙏🏽 We have a lot planned for 2025 💙 💛 Let’s go impact some lives together and give them a House with Heart!! #sharedlivingcommunities #sharedhousing #affordablehousing #seniors #veterans #WOB #momentrepreneurs #businessmentorship by @ahousewithhearthomes
If ive learned anything about business it’s that you have to believe in your vision, believe in your values and most importantly yourself! Everything else will come when you operate from this place and from the heart. My guests see my heart. They know I act from a place of love & compassion. What is for me will not miss me and this opportunity proves it, because it really fell into my lap. ( after a year of hard work) I was meant to be here. To change so many lives and help to aid in ending homelessness. To provide our most vulnerable members of the community a home with dignity and a safe clean living space. Everyone deserves that. #grouphomebusiness #grouphomelife #singlemominbusiness #womanownedandoperated #supportiveliving #cityoffort by @ahousewithhearthomes
This might ruffle some feathers, but the truth is the biggest way to make a major social impact isn’t through just charity (while giving back is great and we fully support!) the BIGGEST impact will be made through real estate! 🏠 The act of helping others secure housing is a game changer. You want to change a community? Create affordable, safe, clean, drug free housing for the most vulnerable population. That is how you change a community. Housing helps you secure work, personal development and creates peace of mind which helps manage conditions like anxiety, depression and PTSD. How much better would you function when safety isn’t a constant concern? We work with social workers and case workers who assist SSI and SSDI recipients, as well as low income single individuals to help provide a community of shared housing. If you struggle with traditional housing options, we are here for you. Strengthening Our Connections Last week, we had the privilege of presenting to over 20 social workers and case managers for HCA Hospitals’. During this in-service we shared our mission, intake process, and the support that we offer. This meeting allowed us to open lines of communication, gaining valuable insights into what these social workers need to better support individuals facing housing challenges. These meetings help expand and strengthen our network, enabling us to reach and assist more people in need. Two More in- services are scheduled later this week for different community agencies. If your organization would like us to speak to your team, please contact us today to schedule. by @ahousewithhearthomes
