We are still looking to fill a couple of spots on our team for the 2026-2027 convention cycle! ❤️ Swipe through to see what each position entails and use the link in our bio to apply! 🙏 #aikon2027 Description: Is the main point of contact for our exhibitor tables. Responsible for communicating with and assisting exhibitors prior and during the convention. Duties: Canvasses exhibitors both inside and outside the city for convention participation and answers exhibitor table inquiries and relays convention policies. Clubs, social groups, conventions, dance groups, etc. that directly relate to Ai-Kon’s mandate and or tie into related programming to be exhibitors at the convention. Where exhibitors overlap, such as gaming relations or cosplay, works with staff from these departments. Ensures that information is being shared in cases when Exhibitor Relations may not be the primary point of contact (for example, gaming exhibitors whose primary point of contact is the gaming lounge staff). In the case of inquiries from organizations/businesses that are outside of mandate, determine if there is enough common ground that may bring additional relevant content to the convention. Maintains a spreadsheet of all potential exhibitors and contact information. Updates online exhibitor registration form, website page, and policies and investigates online payment options. When an exhibitor is confirmed, post the description, link, and graphic. Provide a map for the guidebook and website. Works with the communications department to ensure all exhibitors receive the advertising packages. Solicits and arranges for any exhibitor’s registration bag materials before convention. Request invoices from the Treasurer and ensure all payments are collected before convention, unless otherwise arranged. Establishes a process for payment and badge tracking for any last minute on-site badge purchases. Before the convention, prepares any needed on-site signage, sign-in/tracking sheets, maps, and ingress schedule. Is available during the Marketplace hours to assist with exhibitors. Distributes exhibitor badges on-site; ensure that badge list and badges are created and assembled by @aikonwinnipeg
