Bungou Wan reveals a new character named Tsukkino Serena, the resident hacker of the ADA...but no one knows what ability she has! It remains as one of the mysteries in the armed detective agency.

💬[I have been busy catching up with my academics, I hope I can post more often bout Serena here!]

I think we fans underestimate how kind Ranpo is :) he is always mentioned to be the smartest person, but being a genius only makes it harder to stay intact with your heart because you'll have to accept painful truths people often doesn't see (unlike him who sees almost everything). Not only that, he could've used that intellect for his own benefit but instead he pride himself into becoming a great detective that protects the city and his colleagues. His strength not only lies in his intellectual credibility, but also his morale to stay human in a job that constantly faces violence. No wonder the ADA admires him, his eccentric trait only makes him more loveable.

I'm sorry if my explanation sounds repetitive or boring, I am unsure if I worded these correctly. But I do hope my appreciation for his character is shown through this post I made.

‼️BSD OC‼️ (Tsukkino Serena)
In short, yes Serena is the future owner of the book. Entrusted by Natsume who is her mentor & guardian. But she won't take that path...maybe.

Although she forms bonds easily on the surface, truly getting close to Serena is another matter. She is prone to keeping her problems to herself and concealing her vulnerabilities rather than allowing others to worry about her. Her pride is particularly apparent in her dynamic with Ranpo, with whom she frequently finds herself bickering or disagreeing. She becomes especially flustered when he catches her making mistakes, sees through her excuses, or points out something she would rather keep hidden. Her normally composed demeanor can quickly unravel in his presence, much to her frustration. Serena also has a distinctly childish streak that occasionally clashes with her attempts to appear mature and capable. More than anything, she wants to be seen as competent and dependable, and her efforts to maintain that image often become the very thing that exposes how easily she can become embarrassed, defensive, or stubborn.

One of Serena's deepest insecurities is her complicated relationship with intelligence. She tends to resent people who appear naturally gifted or exceptionally intelligent, quietly believing that many of her own struggles would be easier if she had simply been born smarter.

BSD X C-DRAMA AU
‼️OC X CANON‼️ (Ranporena)
note: Shen Yan and Huang Yingying are made up names for Ranpo and Serena! Neither names were from actual c-drama characters I have watched. In this AU, I write it to be titled "Love is an imperial game" which I will probably be writing as a fanfic series on my tumblr because I am currently interested in historical dramas.

In this AU I write "Love is an imperial game"; Serena is as Huang Yingying the Daughter of Former Commissioner of Dali Temple while Ranpo is as Shen Yan the Hanlin Academian. Serena or Yingying has always disliked Shen Yan, hearing the gossips about him as someone arrogant and egosticial convinced her they will never get along. Especially since she holds grudge against people in the capital city. Unaware that the young man she paired up with during a festival game is Shen Yan. The both of them met at a festival to play games but then a murder occurs after which reveals Shen Yan's identity. Ever since Yingying has been exposed to the world of magic and investigation, she found an interest to go to the capital and learn more about ability users. As an excuse to refuse marriages, Yingying decided to become a priestess but failed during her exam. Thus trying to coax a favor from Shen Yan to find her an insider. The daily lives they had were mundane, full of catching demons and ability users...also having fun doing stupid things, escaping workload, going to festivals, reading books and domestic fluff as co-workers. But then they came across Dongfang Qingcang (Fyodor) who is rumored to descend from the heavenly above. Accused of being traitors, Huang Yingying and Shen Yan ran away to escape execution. Which led to a misunderstanding they were also eloping, due to how some already suspects their closeness before incident occured. Thus our two protagonists having to face the conflict with very few loyal followers
