Gotta love the locals. They're chill if you're chill. Talking to them normally keeps them around longer. Early mornings are the best. They're still half asleep, and the tourist haven't filled in to bother them. Id love to see this beast more often

It's crazy how often someone will say they can never take their own advice. And I can completely understand. That's why its so important to surround yourself with like minded people. They call you on your BS, they give you the patience you give to others, and they echo the things you need to hear, instead of the things you might want to hear.

I'm incredibly fortunate to have many friends and family i can expect this from. Too many to name in this post.

But here's to one of the big ones 🍻 @kpcorcoran79

I can't even tell you how many hours of footage I have of things like this. Im always in such a hurry to get a project started. The easy , and normally funnest part is the demo. Then you get to the installation phase and somehow completely forget what it used to look like. Photos and videos have saved my butt more times than I care to mention. Heed the advice my friends! by @akblindsquirrel

Seasonal jobs was never on the career path check list you're given in school. It wasn't until I was hitchhiking in the Grand Tetons where I met a guy who worked for a resort in the park that I learned you could work a few months here, and a few months there, and make a reasonable wage for yourself. Fast forward 15 years later and I haven't had a traditional year round 9-5 since. Sure it can be challenging moving, finding work, getting transport, etc. But all that can be said about a 9-5. I love the places I've experienced, the people I've met, and the memories that make me who I am today. I hope I'm fortunate enough to do this for the rest of my life.

🍻 to all those who made it possible for me. I am eternally grateful.

Alaska plays by its own rules! The latest I've seen snow at my house was the first week of June! I really hope that's not the case this year. But, either way, weather never stops an Alaskan from getting out to go frolic! 🍻 to spring!

Most days it's just about getting out and enjoying the water. But some days, allot of days, it's just going out on a hunch that you don't care of it's right or not. The days we burn to the water line only the make the days we crush it even better.

"A bad day of fishing, beats..." I'm sure you know the rest.

The indigenous people of Puerto Rico are still very much represented and valued. From street art, to tools, songs and food. Taino culture has shaped the Puerto Rican culture through out the island. It's always powerful driving though the jungles and mountains inland while seeing and feeling those peoples constantly. They're a strong bond that ties people of the island today, back to the people who thrived here before any knowledge of an outside world.

I hope this culture and their traditions never fade from this place.

we go though life constantly looking back at these moments in time where we were truly happy. the hard part is recognizing those moments while they're happening, and not just after they're gone.

practice being in the now, instead of only living through the past.
