One community united in purpose. 🌍✨ Our #AKESTanzania school community came together to celebrate UN Day, embracing the values of peace, unity, diversity and global citizenship that connect us all. A creative handprint activity symbolised our shared commitment to unity, while a picnic in the school garden brought everyone together to enjoy delicious dishes from around the world. From vibrant cultural dances and performances to a colourful fashion show, every moment celebrated the richness of our diverse community. 🎭🎨 More than a celebration, it was a beautiful reminder that our differences bring us closer and that building a more inclusive and peaceful world begins with each of us. 💙 #AgaKhanSchools #DaresSalaam @akdn @agakhan_schools by @akes.tanzania

Connecting students with global opportunities. 🌍🎓 The Tanzania and East Africa University Fair 2026 brought together 12 schools across Dar es Salaam, Arusha and Moshi with over 60 universities from around the world participating in person. What started as an idea became a powerful celebration of collaboration, connection and opportunity. We look forward to next year’s fair – making it bigger, stronger and more representative of the region in the years ahead, bringing together even more universities, students and opportunities from across East Africa. ✨ #AgaKhanSchools #AKESTanzania #DaresSalaam @akdn @agakhan_schools @mzizimavolunteering by @akes.tanzania
Our Grade 7 students embarked on a memorable two-day bonding trip to Nguzo Campsite Lodge in Morogoro for an experience beyond the classroom. Through team challenges, shared activities and a hike to Choma Waterfalls, students strengthened friendships while developing resilience, confidence, independence and teamwork. Each challenge encouraged them to step beyond their comfort zones, support one another and persevere. From tent life to shared laughter and new experiences, the trip created meaningful connections and lasting memories – reminding our students that growth happens when we challenge ourselves and achieve together. 🌿⛰️🤝 #AgaKhanSchools #AKESTanzania #DaresSalaam @akdn @agakhan_schools by @akes.tanzania
Every child deserves to feel safe, valued and supported. 🌱 This #WorldMentalHealthDay, guided by our schools’ theme “Care for All”, we celebrate the small acts of kindness that make a big difference: a listening ear, an encouraging word and a safe space to be yourself. At #AKESTanzania, we are committed to supporting academic success while nurturing healthy minds and caring hearts. 💙 #AgaKhanSchools #DaresSalaam #CareForAll @akdn @agakhan_schools by @akes.tanzania

Recently, we celebrated our wonderful teachers for #WorldTeachersDay! Their patience, dedication, creativity and compassion inspire our students to dream, question, grow and thrive. ✨ Thank you, teachers, for the care, encouragement and unwavering belief you bring to our classrooms every day. Your impact extends far beyond the school walls, shaping not only what our students learn, but who they become. 💙 Happy World Teachers’ Day to our incredible teachers! #AgaKhanSchools #AKESTanzania #DaresSalaam @akdn @agakhan_schools by @akes.tanzania
Our early years students celebrated International Dot Day with creativity, colour and imagination! 🔴🟡🟢🔵 Dressed in colourful dotted designs, students learnt that everyone can make their mark through art, play and inquiry. The day was brought together with a joyful Dot Day parade and assembly, followed by our teacher librarian reading aloud “The Dot” by Peter H. Reynolds. #AgaKhanSchools #AKESTanzania #DaresSalaam @akdn @agakhan_schools by @akes.tanzania

This morning, our year 12 (grade 11) and 13 (grade 12) students attended the Aga Khan Career Fair, an event dedicated to career guidance and higher education. Accompanied by their PRIO (Career and Guidance Resource Person), students had the opportunity to explore a wide range of academic pathways, with institutions from Europe, North America, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Australia. Among the institutions in attendance were Sciences Po, the University of Ottawa, the University of Alberta, Queen’s University, University of Wollongong Malaysia, Royal Holloway, University of London, University College Dublin, IE University and Les Roches. The Career Fair provided students with a valuable opportunity to gradually refine their plans for further education, discover new programmes and gain a better understanding of the different opportunities available to them after high school. France remains a preferred destination for many of our students, while all other options remain open to them. ............................................... Parmi les établissements présents figuraient notamment Sciences Po, University of Ottawa, University of Alberta, Queen’s University, University of Wollongong Malaysia, Royal Holloway, University of London, University College Dublin, IE University ou encore Les Roches. @aefeinfo @akes.tanzania #careerfair #internationalschool by @akes.tanzania
