Boots on the ground. 👷🏾‍♀️

Today was my first official day on the JAA job site.

✔️ 7:00 AM safety briefing
✔️ Helped install thermoplastic parking stalls
✔️ Took my son to the ER for his knee
✔️ Client call for @htmconsultingllc with an old classmate
✔️ Weekly @gforceseattle team meeting
✔️ @costco run

Two weeks after @nabainc, I’m reminded that entrepreneurship isn’t just about attending conferences and taking notes. It’s about putting those lessons into action while balancing business, family, and everything in between.

As we continue growing across both coasts:

📊 HTM Consulting — Business Consulting, Accounting & Tax Preparation

🅿️ HTM Contracting / G-FORCE — Parking Lot Striping & Pavement Marking

“Like the dividends of sand, we add value wherever we land.”

@nabainc has been part of my journey for a long time — and the convention never gets old. 🙌🏾✨

@motrain_5 and I have attended together for the past 6 years, but the last three have hit different. We're not just showing up as professionals anymore — we're showing up as business owners, repping @htmconsultingllc & @gforceseattle. That growth is something we don't take lightly.

So this year, we're headed back to Vegas for the 2026 WIN Convention & Expo and we are always READY to connect with other entrepreneurs doing the work!💚

Come find us! 🤝🔥

The accounting industry is still highly male-dominated at the senior leadership level, and Black professionals still represent less than 2% of all CPAs. Here’s to changing that together. 💕 by @alady_cpa

Prom wasn’t just about a suit. It was about intention.

Raheim and I went back and forth about the vision during our initial consultation. I wanted timeless. He wanted different. After searching through photos and trusting the process, we chose @tscustomsuits — and Lan delivered. ❤️ (she will definitely be seeing me soon 😉)

One measurement appointment. One fitting. And somehow, the perfect balance between classic and individuality came together effortlessly. ❤️

Because honestly, this stage of parenting is about teaching them how to stand out while still understanding the value of presentation, confidence, and substance (and pieces that can flow in any room).

The suit was never just a suit. It was a lesson in identity. ❤️ by @alady_cpa

From CPA to entrepreneur… the journey has been anything but linear.

I’ve always believed in being authentic about the process — the sacrifices, pivots, growth, uncertainty, resilience, and rebuilding that happens behind the scenes.

Honored to be part of the panel next Wednesday at the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants Beyond the Glass Ceiling – Women’s Leadership Summit. 💚

Grateful for every chapter that shaped me into the woman and leader I am still becoming.

Happy Birthday to my husband, my partner, my forever ❤️ @motrain_5

One thing about you—you are truly selfless. The way you’ve supported me being where I need to be in Florida while you hold things down in Washington… that doesn’t go unnoticed. That’s real partnership. ❤️

Even this morning, on your birthday, we were on FaceTime not just celebrating—but locked in, going over management agreements and promissory notes, making sure business is handled. Because that’s who we are. Even when we’re apart, we stay aligned.❤️

We both understand that what we’re building requires discipline now so we can enjoy more later. Less work, more play—but only because we take the time to properly LOVE on each other and set the foundation.❤️

And don’t worry… y’all will definitely be seeing a lot more of BOTH of us in Jax this summer 😉

Happy Birthday, Mr. Moultrie—the CEO to my CFO ❤️ by @alady_cpa
