Give him two sticks and an empty corridor and he'll still find the groove.

You know the moment. A song the whole room knows lands, and suddenly everyone's singing.

The photographs are real MAAL moments from other nights: corporate celebrations and a wedding party in Bangalore. Only the Diwali frame around them is new.

Alastair Quadros — MAAL's percussionist and co-founder.

All smiles for the portrait; the headline still gives him away — rhythm is his department.

No two MAAL nights run quite the same.
Underneath, a VDJ mix that keeps moving. Over it, Live vocals and Live percussion. And on Lyric Lab nights, the words are on screen — and there's a microphone if you want it.
Different nights, different faces. That's rather the point.
