Birthday cake for the lovely @nazdiranaturalremedies 🌺

Had so much fun creating this “agridulce,” or sweet + sour cake for my dear friend!

Meyer lemon poppyseed cake, topped with dairy-free lemon curd, whipped coconut cream, local pomegranate, and amaranth gifted from @alavida_farm 🌻

Always open to a bittersweet collaboration 💫
DM for inquiries and let’s dream something up together!

Wrote about zinnias and wrote about trying again.

Days are getting shorter and soon it’ll be dark by 5, but our second summer continues.

A dream come true! @longplay.hifi is one of my favorite places in San Diego. In a very long beautiful way, I discovered LP thanks to gardening.

Now G is kind enough to let me play some tunes to celebrate my birthday.

Come thru and get a drink and say hi! I’ve probably met half of you at LP and I would for you to go home with some of our flowers.

See you there :) by @alavida_farm

Views from this Spring. Hard to believe we’re in August. March, April, May documented.

It’s like a dream. No, better. by @alavida_farm

Hello!

Time for a pop up! Come to @longplay.hifi tomorrow from 1 to 6 and get a bouquet for yourself or a loved one! And most importantly enjoy some great drinks and listen to some great music!

If you want to reserve a bouquet just DM!

Dahlias, Dara, and much more is what we’ll have!

See you tomorrow :) by @alavida_farm

Farmers Feed Our Souls
Sometimes you need to go to the farmers and get things that feed your soul. Thank you @alavida_farm and Omar for the heartwarming flowers that were local, grown right in Bonita at Sweetwater Community Garden— bright, happy, local flowers that gave all of us such joy.

Find out who your flower grower is, my loves. And visit their farms. It’s such joy ♥️

Dry your eyes. Spring is here. Time for renewal.

Finally made it to spring and patience slowly starts paying off. Thank you to new and old friends for visiting and helping. Your presence makes this space special. Looking forward to meeting more of you.

Some thoughts on Winter and the wait for spring. On Substack. Link in bio. Thanks for reading by @alavida_farm

Winter tasks. The weather is incredible but no flowers yet. All we can do is prep for spring. New beds, new irrigation, tons of compost and the eternal hope of spring.

The garden is growing downwards. Roots take place, and in a blink of an eye, spring will be here with a bouquet under her arm.

See you soon.
