That’s it. by @alba.belli

I still can’t believe this happened 😵‍💫

I was so focused on the photoshoot that I didn’t see the gap between the second and first floor(even though there was a sign) . My foot went straight through, I heard a crack, and I knew something was very wrong.

But of course, when they asked if I was okay, I said “I’m fine.” 😂

I wasn’t fine.

I finished the session, went to the ER afterwards… and found out I had broken my ribs.

Looking back, I really don’t know what I was thinking 😂
10/10 would not recommend.

Motherhood is made of fleeting moments — the quiet strength, the softness, the transformation that happens almost unnoticed.

My work is about preserving this season with intention, care, and a deep respect for the women I photograph.

Every session is guided gently, created thoughtfully, and centered on connection rather than perfection.

If you’re here, welcome. I’m so glad you found your way.

October, lately 🍂

I want my girls to grow up knowing that having a hobby is important because it means that you enjoy your own company.

And that not everything we do has to be productive, or has to become a business. Not every minute of our day has to be spent doing something for someone else.

Sometimes you just make something because it makes YOU happy.

I want to give them the space to explore — to draw, dance, sew, knit, create, try something new, and figure out what they love.

I want them to understand that making time for yourself isn’t selfish.

And hopefully, as they grow, they’ll know what makes them happy — and never feel guilty for making time for it 🦋

I have so many beautiful photos to post.
But right now, I’m in my Albanian era. 🇦🇱

Lately, my mind has just been in Albania, and I know so many immigrants will understand this feeling.

You can leave your country, build a life somewhere else. You raise your children somewhere else, you make a home somewhere else. But you never really leave everything behind.

You leave people you love, places that shaped you, memories, traditions, a language, a whole part of who you are.

And somehow, you carry all of it with you.

My father’s grave is in Tirana, my mom is still there alone (while having 3 kids and 8 grandkids) .
My children are growing up in Toronto, my sisters are in Europe

So when something happens in Albania, it doesn’t feel like something happening far away. Maybe that’s something only people who have left home really understand (or don’t) . But who cares

And right now, watching what is happening there , I haven’t felt like coming here and posting beautiful photographs as if everything is business as usual.

I have galleries waiting. I have beautiful work waiting to be shared. And I will share it. But right now, my heart is there.

Because you can leave your country, you can build a life somewhere else.

But home stays with you 🦅🇦🇱

Mama of four ~ Proof that love multiplies 🤍

Every maternity session reminds me of the same thing ; a mother’s heart never reaches its limit.

Every baby arrives with their own place already waiting.

If you’re expecting and would love to remember this season, I’d be honored to tell your story. Now booking September maternity sessions

There are days I have zero help, zero quiet, and zero plan.
And I’ve learned there are only three options — give up for the day, work after they’re asleep, or just let them in.

Today we skipped school. And I didn’t even feel guilty about it.
Because here’s the thing nobody warns you about motherhood — the interruptions are the memories. The chaos is the childhood. The slow moments you didn’t plan for are the ones they’ll actually remember.

I spent so long trying to find the perfect conditions to do everything. The perfect light. The perfect schedule. The perfect silence.
My girls taught me there’s no such thing. And honestly? I’m grateful. 🤍

Happy almost Mother’s Day to every mama doing it all — messily, beautifully, imperfectly.
