This was a commission for my friend Rafael Gil. It was extremely difficult, but I was pleased with the end outcome.

Thank you so much, my buddy, for your preference and encouragement.

Essa foi uma encomenda para meu amigo @rafaelgil.silva . Foi extremamente difícil, mas fiquei satisfeito com o resultado final.

Muito obrigado, meu amigo, pela preferência e incentivo.

Infernal Troglodyte — Character Redesign Study 👁️⚔️

Redesign

Creation process

Character inspiration

I’ve been playing Heroes of Might and Magic III since I was a kid, so starting this personal project feels really special. This is the first post of a series where I’ll be studying and redesigning characters from the game to practice design, silhouette, and rendering.

Kicking things off with the Infernal Troglodyte from the Dungeon faction. Feedback and critique are always welcome as I keep learning and building my portfolio! by @alcantra_art

"All hail Doom! 👑 There’s just something about the Latverian monarch that hits different in traditional pencil. ✍️

I’ve been diving deep into the details of this A3 piece—focusing on that cold, metallic stare and the energy buildup. Swipe left to see the process from the first lines to the final shading! ➡️

I’m currently OPEN for commissions! If you want your favorite hero (or villain) brought to life in this traditional style, DM me for info and let’s build something epic.
