Sometimes it’s hard for me to understand why things happen the way they do. I trained hard, focused on the gi for the last months, and ended up performing slightly better in no-gi, which I don’t train.. Not great, but still better than gi, where I put in most of my work.

The result wasn’t what I wanted, and sometimes it makes you question everything. Sometimes you feel like giving up, but we keep going. Maybe one day all of this will make sense. Until then, we trust the process, even when it hurts 🥉

🥉 by @alehpereeira

Happy Mother’s Day to all the strong moms out there, on and off the mats.🤎🥇

I got to spend my Mother’s Day doing what I love most, competing with my baby right by my side. And honestly, that’s the biggest win of all.
