Jesus I sing for, all that you’ve done for me by @alexa.knott
9/10/25. It would be wrong of me to not address the weight this day brings. One year ago today was a day that deeply transformed my view on the fight between good and evil. Charlie Kirk - a husband, father, and inspiration to an entire nation, was murdered for the whole world to see. Following this disturbing act of evil, instead of respect and humanity for the Kirk family, Erika, along with all of Turning Point USA, was met with an unfathomable amount of mockery and cruelty. I can’t say I’m surprised. The world would love us as one of it’s own if we belonged to it, but we don’t conform to this world. Jesus said, “If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first.” (John 15:18) Surprisingly, this verse brings me comfort. Yes, people will hate if you have an opposing view. Yes, people will hate if you speak boldly. And yes, people will hate if you listen to God’s truth, not what society says to be true. But what man intended for evil, God intended for good. (Genesis 50:20) People are waking up, speaking out, and choosing life with Jesus. Turning Point USA will continue to grow, and its students will continue to fight at every high school and college campus in the nation. My heart goes out to all those the closest with Charlie, especially Erika. She is the most faithful, steadfast, and compassionate woman I’ve ever had the privilege to meet. I will stand by her along with all of TPUSA to defend and honor her name the same way she has done for us. I am endlessly grateful for all the opportunities Turning Point USA has given me. Thank you, Charlie Kirk, for inspiring me to speak boldly and use my passion to bring God glory. We miss you deeply.❤️ by @alexa.knott
