New colorgrading work for the short documentary: Windy. “Through natural cycles, our world is in constant building and breaking, as the bottom of the sea was once the peak of a mountain. As humans, we can only be an observer of a tiny fragment of these cycles. ‘The Memory of Matter’ presents a perspective of time that doesn’t stem from human perception, but in the immense repetitive nature of water and mountains, day and night. This perspective emphasizes our own fragility as humans.” The film was premiered at the Eye museum last year Created by: Camera & editing: Sofie Santos Sound mix: Rick Haring Color grading: @alexanderdragomirov With special thanks mention to Feline Hjermind & Jeroen Vermandere . . #digitalcolorgrading #coloristsociety #coloristsocietyinternational #colorgrading #filmcommunity by @alexanderdragomirov
Recently, Alexander has been working on the colorgrading of the short fiction film Ad Vitam

Ad Vitam tells the story of a memory slowly fading away, as if exhaling its last breath. A greenhouse appears as a mausoleum, a place where the past and impermanence meet. The film is quiet meditation on disappearance and legacy, exploring how we relate to forgetting through small, silent rituals left behind by time.
