Celebrating the 4th of July and 250 years of America with my favorite person @alexx_webb19 🇺🇸

Looking at this picture makes me proud. Not just because we’re both in the best shape of our adult lives, but because I know what it took to get here.

Early mornings. Tough workouts. Strict dieting. Saying no when it would’ve been easier to say yes. And yes… plenty of mood swings along the way. 😂

I’m incredibly grateful I had a partner in crime who embraced every part of the journey with me. Thank you for pushing me to be a better version of myself every single day, even when I didn’t feel like showing up. Having someone who believes in you and is willing to grind beside you is a gift.

And can we all take a second to appreciate the fact that this absolute bombshell gave birth to THREE babies? 🤯 I’m beyond proud of you.

More than anything, I hope our kids grow up seeing that taking care of your body isn’t about chasing perfection or impressing anyone else. Your body is a temple, and it’s worth investing in physically, mentally, and emotionally. We want them to see that discipline, consistency, and hard work pay off, and that living a healthy lifestyle is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.

Here’s to celebrating our country, our family, our health, and the journey that got us here. 🇺🇸💪 by @alexx_webb19

The baby Webbs are out into the world full time this year.🤘🏽

May you leave a positive impact this year without taking anyone’s caca 💩. We teach peace and say no to bullying but if bullied… you got their mom knocking your door down with my truck bc we’ve had enough of that. 🙃

So let’s have an amazing year kids and parents!

Nine years ago, Meraki was just a conversation in a sauna at 5 a.m. @madisonramirez_13 “little vision,” born from losing her best woman, her mom-mom, has become so much more than she ever imagined.
•
It’s a community. It’s a statement. It’s a safe place for women.
•
It’s magical. ✨
•
Last year, Madison asked if I was ready to make enough bread to be a vendor at Meraki. I had never even thought about selling my sourdough… and here I am, wrapping up year TWO.
•
I dream of the day I can invest in a bread oven. No more science experiments trying to create steam in my kitchen oven. Just 16 loaves at once instead of four, and hopefully less than three days of baking… with spray tans and kids’ sports squeezed in between. 😂
•
I’ll just need about 15.5 more of these events to get there.
•
One day. 🤞🏽
•
Madison, thank you for making @merakimarket_nj a safe place for so many and for always showing up for other small businesses. Your support can be life-changing. I hope you know how many people see the hard work, heart, and magic you pour into this every year.
•
I can’t wait to see what that brain of yours dreams up next. Especially for year TEN!
•
Thank you to everyone who supported @shadow_loaves yesterday. To those who bought bread last year and came back this year… you have no idea how much that means to me.
•
And to the mommas who were pregnant last year and came back with their babies earthside this year… watching your families grow is such a sweet part of this. ✨
•
I’m still learning, still determined, and getting closer to mastering this whole open-baking thing. Thank you for being part of the journey.
•
And @jonavinwebb , thank you for supporting every one of my crazy ventures. I love you, forever and ever. ♾️ by @alexx_webb19

Whoever said artists had to be starving never had my sourdough. 😉
•
I must say… I could cry over all of this. And honestly? I almost have. The last few weeks, my anxiety has been through the roof, with “I’m never going to get this” playing on repeat in my head.
•
The amount of RESEARCH I’ve put into this bread… Open baking has been so hard for me to figure out, which, naturally, means I HAVE to master it.
•
I’m also the person who turns everything I love into a business. It’s exhausting in my brain.
•
I’ve been dreaming about sourdough. Literally. And annoying anyone who’s tried my bread since I started open baking: “Can you tell the difference? Is it as good as the Dutch oven?”.
•
Two days ago, I made the worst loaves I’ve ever made. I was ready to pull the ol’ “cough, cough… I’m sick.” Just kidding, @madisonramirez_13. 👀
•
Then today, my first few loaves were… extra crispy. One went straight into the trash. Cue me wanting to cry again.
•
But the next batch? Something CLICKED. And EVERY SINGLE LOAF SINCE HAS COME OUT PERFECT. And they are HUGE!!!
•
So tomorrow, you’re getting bread with a whole lot of research, a little lost sleep, and one very proud baker behind it.
•
I can’t wait to see everyone at @merakimarket_nj tomorrow!
