Back from a lovely two weeks in Tokyo and Seoul, looking forward to playing my first show in forever this Thursday at @thebetseytrotwood with @countjaakola and Basic Design @ashtoninspace, last few tickets available at link in bio šŸ“ø @streamliningthecities by @alice_hubble
When I was not quite alone in Kyotoā€¦ Just over a month until my next show supporting @countjaakola at @thebetseytrotwood, 29 October. Tickets at link in bioā€¦ šŸ“ø @streamliningthecities by @alice_hubble
Back in 2007 when the world was Indie Sleezing, @rodney_cromwell and I were doing this. Always a bit out of step with things, generally happy with that! This photoshoot was done in a council block off Kingsland Road, first (and only time) working with a stylist, all clothes from Beyond Retro! Off looking for robots of course, another photo from this shoot is still up on The Guardianā€™s website! Our feature in the Yorkshire Evening Post! by @alice_hubble
Thrilled to be playing my first Alice Hubble show in 2.5 years next month at home from home @thebetseytrotwood. Will be playing some old favourites and hopefully a couple of new ones too. Hope to see some friendly faces there! Venue is absolutely tiny so donā€™t snooze on tickets, see the link in bio 29 October The Betsey Trotwood @countjaakola Alice Hubble Basic Design @ashtoninspace Tickets Ā£8 from See Tickets, link in bio šŸ“ø @digitalcaroline by @alice_hubble
To celebrate the remixes by Basic Design @ashtoninspace and @alice_hubble weā€™re all getting together for this triple-bill at the Betsey Trotwood 29 October! Tickets on sale now, find yours thru link in bio. Iā€™m super excited about this - itā€™s the first ever live gig for Basic Design, first Alice Hubble show in a while and last London show for CJ this year (though you can catch us in Edinburgh two days after) Come along! @tiptoprecs by @alice_hubble
Itā€™s Bandcamp Friday ā€“ Iā€™m sure you can tell already from your rammed inboxes The good news is Iā€™ve done a massive stock-take and Iā€™ve released one new item today and put a few others on sale. ā˜ļø *NEW* CLOUD STUDIES Iā€™ve made a handful of CDR promos of the new EP available today. These wonā€™t hang around long šŸ§™ ALICE HUBBLE ā€˜Hexentanzplatzā€™ we are down to 8 LPs remaining and weā€™ve discounted the CD versions of both her albums. I also found one promo of ā€˜We Are Still Aloneā€™. Alice has also added a signed 'Hexentanzplatz' poster to her merch list šŸ“¦ RODNEY CROMWELL (now know as Adam from Cloud Studiesā€™ previous act) ā€“ we have 2 ā€˜Memory Boxā€™ LPs left. These are warehouse finds, both signed and discounted, there wonā€™t be any more after these. Also we are down to last 1 copy of ā€˜Exercise Classā€™ and 2 of ā€˜Cold Christmasā€™ Loads of other stuff is discounted, including bangers from ROMAN ANGELOS and MOOD TAEG. The bad news (at least for our non-UK customers) is Iā€™ve updated our postage prices to reflect the new reality of Trump tariffs and Brexit import fees. Iā€™ve been taking a big hit on postage for far too long (I lost Ā£10 on an LP I posted to the states last week) so apologies if looks like Iā€™m money grabbing, it couldnā€™t be further from the truth. Thanks as ever for your support @alice_hubble @cloudstudiesband @rodney_cromwell by @alice_hubble

So happy to share a remix of ā€˜Ericaā€™ by @alice_hubble out today on @tiptoprecs . Iā€™ve wanted to work with Alice ever since I first heard ā€˜Goddessā€™ from her first album ā€˜Polarlichterā€™ so was stoked that she wanted to do a remix, and I absolutely love this version! If you donā€™t know Aliceā€™s music you must go and explore immediately, and you can listen to Erica via link in bio. @ribbonfactorytottenham Mastering by @turanaudio Artwork by Paul Rains by @alice_hubble
šŸŽ‰ Happy 5th birthday to ā€œPower Playā€, released 19 May 2021. šŸŽ‰ What I said about the song back in the day ā€œThe track is my comment on what happens in a post #metoo world, once the worst offenders have been ā€˜cancelledā€™ and caught and the news stories have been had. Has something changed? Does society move on and go to the next issue?ā€ Sadly, these questions feel even more relevant five years on. by @alice_hubble
We have not one, but two DJ gigs coming up this month! 22/05 at @themildmayclub for @vinylsecretary N16 for our third time! Bring your dancing shoes šŸ‘ž 28/05 @__decca__ at @woodstbear E17, a 7ā€ only set Hope to see some friendly faces! by @alice_hubble
Had a wonderful time touring Hansa Studios today. The studio where favourites including Depeche Modeā€™s Some Great Reward and Black Celebration were recorded - along with other faves like Tangerine Dreamā€˜s Force Majeure and Bowieā€˜s Heroes. Quite a magical and inspiring place! by @alice_hubble
Fun times visiting @music_store_professional in Kƶln today, one of the the biggest and best music shops in Europe. Bought a new tuner and a pineapple shaped shaker cause why not! Photos by me and @streamliningthecities by @alice_hubble
