My conversation with Joe Rogan now available on all platforms… 👽 by @alieninsect

Imagine finding yourself in an unfamiliar technological environment, surrounded by beings that appear to be carrying out a procedure while another figure watches over the scene.

@alieninsect discusses this recurring theme in DMT reports, often referred to as spiritual surgery, with intriguing parallels to shamanic experiences.

Why do some people describe such similar scenarios? And what can researchers make of these accounts?

Watch the latest episode of Masters of the Mind.

What can the history of ayahuasca teach us about the relationship between Indigenous knowledge and modern science?

In this episode of Masters of the Mind, @alieninsect takes us into the Amazon, exploring the gatherings, rituals and intoxicants that caught the attention of early Western observers.

How did Indigenous Amazonian cultures understand the chemistry behind ayahuasca long before Western science could explain it?

@alieninsect takes us through the history and pharmacology behind one of the most fascinating stories in psychedelic research.

From Richard Spruce's encounters in the Amazon to the role of monoamine oxidase inhibitors, this conversation explores the discoveries that helped explain how ayahuasca works.

Scientists are using pure math to hack consciousness.

Clip from my conversation with @omgthewhyfiles on 'The Basement: Danny Goler | The Laser Experiment and the Code Inside'. by @alieninsect

Is the world you experience the world as it actually exists? Your brain is astonishingly good at convincing you that it is.

But Dr. Andrew Gallimore has some questions about that.

In our first episode of Masters of the Mind, we explore DMT, ayahuasca, consciousness and a theory that could make you think very differently about perception.

And, we get into the stranger stuff too: encounters with intelligent entities, ways to extend psychedelic states and a question that is surprisingly difficult to answer.

Episode 1 of Masters of the Mind is out now. Watch or listen through the link in bio.

What if your brain could change reality like changing a television channel? Dr. Andrew Gallimore has a theory about DMT that makes this question even stranger.

And this is just one of the many fascinating topics explored in this conversation.

Ancient Amazonian knowledge. Extraordinary entity encounters. New approaches to studying consciousness.

Welcome to Masters of the Mind.

What if a 10-minute other worldly journey could become two hour exploration of consciousness?

That’s the idea behind @eleusismind, a legally sanctioned, medically supervised immersion center in the Caribbean islands.

The experience is built around extended-state sessions, but Eleusis is about much more than the session itself.

Guests move through preparation, physician-led care, integration, and personalized support designed to help them make sense of what comes up afterward.

People may arrive looking for healing, clarity, creativity, purpose, or simply a chance to explore consciousness in a way that normally isn’t possible.

There’s also a real research side to what Eleusis is doing, with the goal of learning more about consciousness and what these longer states may reveal.

That combination of science, medical support, and deep personal exploration is what makes Eleusis so interesting.

It’s not just about extending the experience. It’s about creating the structure around it to explore what those extra hours might actually mean.

🗣️ If you’re curious about where Eleusis is taking this next, follow them and use the link in our bio to learn more about the work, the research, and everything happening in the Caribbean islands.

In this clip from Traces of the Other, Andrew Gallimore reflects on how DMT seemed to emerge naturally from Donald Hoffman’s models of consciousness. DMT went from inexplicable to making sense through mathematics. -
