My great-great-nephew Bjorn turned 1. Had to be a viking themed card for the little viking dude. by @alipengo

As requested for my Great-Great-Newphew, Bjorn. I'm getting older, and the generations are expanding.

I absolutely love Jack Skellington and The Night Before Christmas 🎄 💀💀

Sweet 16! Lexi, my beautiful great-niece turned 16 recently so I created this card for her using my @cricut_uk machine using a design from Design Space. Funny, coincidental thing is the colour matched her new trainers!

Where are my halloween fans?

I'm a bit paradoxical in that my favourite season is summer for the warmth and sunshine, yet my favourite holiday of the year is Halloween.

So, over the course of October, I've been titivating the house, adding more and more dark and spooky to my already dark and moody aesthetic. I've even changed out our light fixtures ... well shall I say I chose them and my husband fitted them 😆. The lighting plays a huge part on achieving the right ambience, so I have used different coloured bulbs, fairy lights, etc, adding to the dark and mysterious effect. And of course, there has been a bit of crafting here and there like my monogrammed cauldron.

Here's a few images of how it's been progressing.

Do you like to add Halloween decorations? I realise that here in the UK, it's not a massive tradition like it is in the USA, but more people seem to be getting onboard with it, which soothes my soul 🤣. Told you I was a paradox!

One of my great-nephews, Brandon, recently graduated from Hull Uni and has already started a new job!! So very proud of him!

Here, I'm sharing a couple of cards I created for him using the University of Hull's gown colours. One I.used as an actual greeting card and the other to put some money in.

I made a card for the first time in a while. I created this for my MIL's birthday. I was drawn to beautiful yellow to create it.

Yellow, white, black cardstock and velum from @papermilldirect
Radiant Roses bundle, consisting of stamp, dies and stencils from @polkadoodles
I used a background writing stamp to create texture. My favourite distress oxide inks had to feature, didn't they! 😁
