Best Student Short Film – @animayofestival Gran Canaria 2026

@cherefin.gobelins, created by @ladypoulpy, arzedan_2, laora.lbg, @alissen2, @jxjxm_ and @clem_saden as a graduation film at @gobelins.paris, has been awarded Best Student Short Film at Animayo Gran Canaria 2026.

The short follows Ben, a postman facing his final day of deliveries across a surreal archipelago, embarking on an emotional journey through a lifetime of memories while embracing the promise of a new beginning.

Blending 2D and 3D animation, the film creates a poetic and deeply sensitive universe where every farewell also becomes a celebration of everything that has been lived.

Congratulations to the entire "Chère Fin" team and to @gobelins.paris on this well-deserved recognition!

Thanks to @cabildodegrancanaria – La Isla de Mi Vida; @aytolpgc – Candidate City for European Capital of Culture 2031 (City Promotion); the Culture Department of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council (@lpacultura); @gobcanarias (@icdcultural, @turismodeislascanarias and @proexca); @visitgrancanaria; Fundación La Caja de Canarias and @teatrocicca; @filmotecacanaria; @teatroguiniguada.gc; @grancanariafilm; as well as production companies, studios, schools, universities and private companies, for continuing to promote culture, education and the audiovisual industry on the island.
