POSTS STORIES REELS

Didn’t want to post 2 photos of my cat and a book next to each other on the feed so the first photo is a throwback to when I was moving in and had to organize my shelves.

Apart from that here is the review of Iron Flame that I think I never posted.

This is a high-stakes, “screaming, crying, perfect storm” of a fantasy sequel. Rebecca Yarros plunges us right back into chaos of Navarre, delivering a story that is dangerous, exhilarating, and completely addictive.
Violet isn’t the fragile girl from the beginning of the series anymore. I feel like she fights harder and stands stronger even as her world crumbles. Then there is Xaden, I just love them together although I was not a big fan of their current situation but I did like that they didn’t just jump back to normal.

My conclusions would be that in this second book the world expands, the dragons remain fiercely protective, and the weight of massive secrets threatens to break everything.

The end of the book gave anxiety and left me breathless in the ruins, completely wrecked, and begging for the next one.

Hiii everyone! ✨

I know I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately. Life and work have been incredibly busy (Madrid corporate life is no joke!), and I’ve been focusing on trying to find a balance.

Anyway i have been reading so here is a review!!!

Funny Story by Emily Henry was exactly what I needed.

Without giving too much away, I absolutely loved it. It’s a story about Daphne and Miles, who find themselves in a “shared trauma” situation when their exes fall for each other. It was funny (as the title promises!), but also heartfelt. Emily Henry just has a way of writing characters that feel like people you’ve known your whole life.

If you’re looking for a perfect “Spring to Summer” transition book, I think this is it. 🌸📖

What has everyone else been reading while I was gone? What are some good books to read for Spring to Summer transition??? by @all.too.marta

Still coming down from all the Christmas and New Year’s chaos, and honestly… all I want right now is a blanket, a coffee, and a book by the fireplace ☕📖

I’m really enjoying Snowed In. The writing feels so cozy, and I love the different POV chapters.

Trying to soak in these quiet moments before real life fully kicks back in. I’ve got a work presentation on the 7th and I’m a little nervous (trying to pretend I’m not), but for now I’m choosing slow mornings and warm coffee.

Also went to see The Housemaid at the cinema and… wow. So many emotions, still thinking about it.

Are you still on holiday or already back to work? Have you read this one? or what are you reading? 🤍

Anyone else doing this??? What are some of your new year resolution?

First day of the year ✨ still very much in holiday mode.

I haven’t finished Snowed In yet, but I’m hoping to get back to it in the next few days.

This year I really don’t want to pressure myself with reading or feel like I need to have something profound to say all the time. I just want to stay consistent, show up, and share even when it’s simple.

If you have any book recommendations, please send them my way — I think I’m in a bit of a reading slump 🤍📖

Haven’t posted in ages, and somehow the longer I wait, the more pressure I put on myself to come back with something important. So here’s me doing the opposite and just… posting 🤍

How have you been? What are you reading lately?

Books + beach = bliss… until I panic about a single grain of sand. 📚🏖

Do you take your books to the beach?

I love reading with the waves in the background, but I’m always terrified of getting even the tiniest scratch on them! by @all.too.marta

How’s your summer going? ☀️

I’m so happy right now. I just love summer. It’s that time of year that makes me feel excited, stress free, and just… wonderful.

Also, I’m super late to the party, but I finally started watching The Summer I Turned Pretty.
Have you seen it? Thoughts? by @all.too.marta

I am 8 pages into Wrath of the dragons by @itslivdarling and I am already obsessed.

So far I already got Cayden’s pov, dragons, death threats, touch her and I kill you vibes, and the dynamic between Saskia, Ryder and Cayden!!

What is a book you knew you were going to love from the moment you opened it?? by @all.too.marta

Life recently ☀️ by @all.too.marta

✨ It’s me, hi, I’m the problem, it’s me… I stoped posting for ages✨

I didn’t think Bride would be my thing because I thought it gave me fan fiction vibes (I have never read fan fiction so I have no clue what I am talking about). But if anyone could pull me into this world, it’s Ali Hazelwood. And oh my god… SHE DID.

This book was good. Like, slow-burn, enemies to lovers, fated mates, found family kind of good. It’s giving fanfic at 2am but I love it.

Misery (yes, that’s her name and yes, it works) and Lowe are so cute. Their chemistry?? Off the charts. Watching them go from enemies to soulmates had me kicking my feet and squealing.

Tropes:
💍 marriage of convenience
💕 forbidden romance
🌙 fated mates
🥰 found family
♥️ slow burn

The paranormal world building was done really nicely. No boring dumps. The side characters? ICONIC.

I won’t lie it took me a bit to finish (life, work, chaos), and while I didn’t become feral like I have with some books, this still hit all the right emotional notes.

If you love a little supernatural spice with your romance… trust me, you’re gonna love this one. by @all.too.marta
