Final pictures of Mama Tortuga, I’m so chuffed with this piece! It represents a big learning curve for me, I’ve been able to prove to myself that I can refine my painting by improving my technique! by @alleminiworld

What a blast I’ve had this weekend! For years I’ve followed @oliver_spaeth ‘s work and just wished I could be able to do even 1/10th of what he does! So taking part to his workshop organised by @blacksun.studio was such an honour. I would have never thought I’d be so proud of what I’ve managed to create in two days. I am honestly so chuffed and I can’t wait to finish this piece and keep on applying what I’ve learned to new bases!

Coming off a high on ADHD makes me feel so drained. When there’s something or someone that really takes my interest, when my brain gets on the dopamine, my life just stops functioning. I can’t work, I can’t paint, I can’t think about anything else but that which is creating such strong sensations for me. I find it sweet but incredibly draining, and coming off that feeling leaves me wanting to reconnect with the parts of me I feel I’ve lost along the way. Does that happen to other people? by @alleminiworld

Our first weekend workshop with the incredible Lucas Williams @lucas_miniatureart was nothing short of amazing!

Here's some of the feedback:

✨ "Up there with the best of them"
✨ "Truly mind expanding"
✨ "Absolutely amazing experience"
✨ "I cannot recommend it enough"
✨ "Lucas is utterly incredible"
✨ "Sign me up for the next one"
✨ "I'm blown away"
✨ "Outstanding workshop"
✨ "Lucas is a fantastic tutor"
✨ "A room full of people out of their comfort zone — and that’s exactly what you want from a workshop!"

Special thanks to Lucas! I gained insight into the dedication and effort he put into this workshop, and it was clear to me how much it meant to him. He even provided each student with a specific Rosemary & Co brush, as well as the custom bust.

Huge thanks to everyone who joined us and made it such a success ❤️

What a great weekend I have had at @lucas_miniatureart ‘s workshop at the amazing @blacksun.studio
An amazing group of humans,
An incredible teacher,
A wonderful host!

I can’t help but looking back at my first two years attending workshops and how I couldn’t take a bust to a semi-finished result in 2 days. And look at me now. I am so, so proud of my progress. And Luca is an absolutely incredible teacher, very supportive and attentive to the needs of his students. Cannot recommend it enough! by @alleminiworld

Time zones are crazy.
It’s 19:52 in London,
8:52 in Hawaii and
1932 in Saxony-Anhalt

One of my favourite parts of a new project is brainstorming ideas through paint overs (also with the help of my tutor @tjmarsh_art_ ).
Procreate makes it so easy to use reference images and create palettes. It’s also great for creating different sketches on different layers to quickly experiment with different ideas! by @alleminiworld

New project…yes…I can see the broken ear tip 🥲 by @alleminiworld

I don’t ask too much in life…here’s my bucket list when it comes to miniature painting:

- Get a CORRR at @fenmodelshow.ely 🚀
- Get one of my models into @verkosvault 🔶
- Partecipate as a contestant to Miniature Masters by @squidmarminiatures 🦑
- Sculpt and sell at least one figure 🗿
- Paint as a job at least once a week 🧑‍🎨

…and go back to Japan, but that’s off topic 😝. I’m working hard to make my dreams come true! by @alleminiworld

This past week I have demonstrated to myself that I can improve, that my will can become reality. I am so ready for a new project, but I am also incredibly satisfied at the repaint of this lady. I am proud of myself! by @alleminiworld

What a great weekend! Spent some time with old friends, met new ones and a silver medal in the Standard category was just the cherry on top! @fenmodelshow.ely is always a blast! Until next year!
