Handmade ceramic boxes for everyday treasures ✨💍 An incredibly time consuming and laborious act of love that I am happy to continue following. The boxes will continue to evolve with more ideas and refinements as I make more. The sketch book is full. This first prototype batch taught me A LOT. •The wire I use needs to be thicker. •They should dry upside down to prevent the lids from warping. •It’s a good idea to wrap the coil hinges in small batches. No more than 10 at a time to avoid blisters on your ENTIRE hand. •Brush on more layers of glaze than you think you need or you’ll be be refiring with your fingers crossed. by @alligerber_ceramics
