A few years ago @allisonlanelit stepped into the studio for her first shoot💕 At the time, she was building something new. I remember interviewing her for my YouTube channel shortly after her brand photoshoot and asked if she had a plan when she took the leap to start her business. The answer wasn’t a detailed business roadmap. What she did have was years of experience, an understanding of how she could help people and a willingness to take the next step. Fast forward... Today, she helps women experts, entrepreneurs, and storytellers turn their brilliance into books by developing their path to publication and building the platform to get their message in front of the people who need it most. And her recent photoshoot felt a little like coming full circle🩷 During her first session, we incorporated stacks of books from authors she admired. This time, she walked into the studio carrying stacks of books written by her clients. Book after book after book. Each one representing someone she helped bring their message into the world💛 Can’t wait to share more. But for now... Here’s a behind the scenes peek into her shoot and a good time with some of her faves on the playlist.  Hair and makeup @traveling_beauty1 #personalbranding #personalbrandphotographer #personalbrandingforwomen by @allisonlanelit

In the professional world, as goldiecylon said, ego can be loud and demanding, but true confidence is quiet and steadfast. Built on years of dedication and expertise, confidence allows you to focus on your strengths and build trust naturally. The biggest myth in publishing? That you need to finish your book before you pitch it. Here’s the truth: nonfiction authors sell a book on “spec,” not the full manuscript. A book proposal is your business plan for your book; it proves there’s an audience, a hook, and a reason a publisher should invest in you. Write the proposal first. Get the deal. Then write the book. You can get my framework for getting a book deal - the same one I use with private clients: how to position your book, pitch agents, and turn your idea into a proposal that sells. Want it? DM me “deal” and I’ll send it to you. by @allisonlanelit
You are not for everyone. And that’s exactly the point. Stop hiding from the people who don’t get you. The people who need you are trying to find you. @jjflizanes and I get into the deep on this. by @allisonlanelit
OUTGROWING THE LIFE THAT MADE YOU SUCCESSFUL No one talks about this part… The part where you’ve done everything “right” ✔ Built the business ✔ Grown the career ✔ Checked the boxes …and something still feels off. Not broken. Not failing. Just… not fully aligned anymore. This is the moment where most women start to question themselves. 👉 “Am I ungrateful?” 👉 “Why isn’t this enough?” 👉 “What’s wrong with me?” Nothing. You’re not stuck. You’re not burned out. You’ve outgrown the version of you that created your current life. And here’s the truth… Most brilliant, high-achieving women don’t move forward from here. They stay invisible. Not because they don’t have talent. Not because they don’t know enough. But because: • Their needs are unmet • Their old identity is still running the show • Their nervous system doesn’t feel safe being seen • And their subconscious beliefs are quietly holding them back 🔥 This is exactly what we’re breaking down in my upcoming free class: Why Brilliant Women Stay Invisible (and How to Step Into Your Next Level) If you’ve been feeling this… this is your next step. 📅 April 10 🎟️ Use code: JJFREE 🔗 Link jjflizanes.com/brilliantwomen You’re not meant to stay where you’ve outgrown. It’s time for your next level. — JJ 💛 #WomenInBusiness #PersonalGrowthJourney #EmotionalHealing #HighAchievers #FemaleEntrepreneur MindsetShift VisibilityMatters SelfWorthJourney SpiritualGrowth NextLevelYou PurposeDriven WomenEmpowerment EntrepreneurLife HealingJourney LiveYourTruth by @allisonlanelit
It’s not always the algorithm. Sometimes, it’s the scroll. If people keep passing on your post or hit “don’t show this,” LinkedIn learns fast. And once they stop seeing you, it’s hard to come back. @mandymodgirl Your first line decides everything. by @allisonlanelit
Reviews don’t just sit on a page. They move books and podcasts into the paths of the people who need them. If you’ve ever wondered whether your quick rating or two-sentence note matters, it does. Platforms push forward what audiences signal they value. And your review is that signal. When something resonates, take the extra minute to say so. It keeps the work alive, discoverable, and in conversation with the world. by @allisonlanelit
