Lina travels the streets of BogotΓ‘, Colombia with her MamΓ‘, looking for recyclable treasure, when a wall of graffiti sends her on a quest to find treasure in everyone. πŸŒžπŸ‡¨πŸ‡΄βœ¨πŸŽ¨β™»οΈπŸ« UNIQUE LIKE YOU is a bilingual picture book (English & Spanish,) co-written by your truly and my husband Rafael Rozo, illustrated (or vividly brought to life) by @angie.alape We gasped at her gorgeous illustrations of graffiti and images of her and Rafael's beautiful hometown nestled high in the Andes Mountains. This story is close to our hearts and was inspired by a photo I took on my first trip to BogotΓ‘ of Reclicadores and their burro in front of a wall of graffiti. UNIQUE LIKE YOU releases September 16th '25 with @beamingbooksmn and is available wherever books are sold. This is Charlotte aka "The Librarian," and she wrote & illustrated her OWN picture book inspired by DIEGO FUEGO THE FIREFIGHTING DRAGON! When she's not busy writing & illustrating, Charlotte loves to read stories to her stuffed animals and sometimes has to shhh 🀫 them if they are getting a bit too loud.
