I'm really proud of this.
I play Syed Ali in "Tehran", which launched yesterday in India on @Zee5.

In 2022 I was asked to join a film that was being recorded in Glasgow. I had no clue what I was about to join. Stunts, explosions, car crashes, shooting, blood... a film filled with action and tension. And now finally it is here! Tehran is a full on Bollywood action thriller with a big named star. John Abraham @thejohnabraham is a big deal indeed in the Bollywood industry, and it was a joy to act opposite him. He was humble, kind and very generous. Besides him, I'd like to thank my fellow cast: @hadi.khanjanpour @kholghifarshad and @admkarst for making this a really joyful production.

Thanks to my agent Jessica @dryblueagency

Tehran can be seen on @zee5 NOW

That's life. Really proud to feature in the 120 Beroepen die je ouders niet zagen aankomen magazine (120 professions your parents didn't see coming). From icecube makers, to hospital clowns, party princes and famous magicians...and of course a voice actor also. How did I get to that rather elusive and niche job?...read that in the magazine.

Created by my good friends
Shoshanna de Goede @shoshannadegoede
Annemieke Raatsie @annemiekeraatsie
And of course Gennie Freen @genius3823
Thank you team for this amazing achievement

The magazine is for sale online at Bol.com, book websites and available from most book & magazine shops in the Netherlands.

I couldn't be more proud of my heritage to stand at the exact same spot as my great grandfather rabbi Isaac Agtsteribbe in this photo on the left. He was the gazan and rabbi (aka De Leraar) at the gorgeous Hoog Duitse Neve Shalom synagoge in Paramaribo, Suriname from about 1923 to 1943. The Jewish community once thrived here (including my grandmother) at the beginning and middle of last century. And a tiny community of less than 100 people keep this community alive nowadays. One person Lily Duyn (80yrs) is the driving force in keeping the synagoge and archives in shape in a battle against the tropical elements and fading memories.

#fontedemesquita #wandeleninportugal #algarve #wittepauw by @allon.sylvain
