A new era of All Things Ailish? I think so 👀

I’ve been creating content for years, but recently I’ve realised that while my life has evolved, my content hasn’t necessarily evolved with it.

I’m incredibly proud of the business I’ve built and everything that’s come with it, but I feel like there’s so much more of me that I want to share on here.

More founder life, more behind the scenes, more of our home, more everyday moments and just generally having fun being creative again.

Less of the same old content and more of whatever I fancy sharing, really 😂

No big rebrand, no dramatic announcement. Just me figuring out what this next chapter looks like.

And I’m actually really excited about it!!!!

Lots of love, Ailish xxx by @allthingsailish

One thing about me is I’m almost always doing a 5–9 after my 9–5. 😂

And before anyone comes for me about work-life balance, I promise I do know how to switch off. Sometimes.

But I think there’s something quite exciting about being at a point in your life where you’ve got so many things you want to do, ideas you want to explore and a life you’re genuinely enjoying building.

Some evenings I’m productive, some I’m out doing something completely random and others I’m on the sofa by 7pm with absolutely no intention of moving.

I’m not saying I’ve got the balance figured out, because I definitely haven’t. But I am learning that not every hour of the day needs to look the same.

And for now, I’m quite happy with my slightly chaotic little routine.

Lots of love,

It’s the little milestones that mean the most. 🥹

Today we bought our first staff @apple MacBook, and while that might not sound like a big deal to some, to me it really is.

Building a business from the ground up means celebrating the things that often go unseen. The first hires, the first bits of equipment, the ability to reinvest back into the people who help make it all happen.

We’re still a small business, still growing, still learning and still working towards the bigger picture.

There’s so much that goes on behind the scenes of running a business, and every little investment is another step forward.

One MacBook today, hopefully a whole team of them in the future.

Proud of my little business and super proud of the team . ❤️ by @allthingsailish

I think there’s a funny misconception that when you’re running a successful business, your life must be exciting 24/7. 😂

And don’t get me wrong, there are some pretty incredible moments that I still have to pinch myself over.

But the reality is, most weekends I’m just being a mum, making beige dinners, having a ridiculously long bubble bath and convincing myself I’ll actually finish the book I’ve been reading for weeks.

I think the older I get, the more I realise that success isn’t necessarily about having the most exciting life in the room.

Sometimes it’s just having the freedom to enjoy a really ordinary Saturday, doing absolutely nothing remarkable.

Although a weekend without having to decide what everyone wants for dinner would be quite nice. 😂

The older I get, the more I realise it’s actually the simplest things in life that make me the happiest. 🥹

A wee day out, something nice to eat, wandering around the shops with absolutely no real plans and somehow ending up in Costco 😂

Nothing particularly exciting, nothing extravagant, just a genuinely lovely day.

And I think sometimes we forget just how nice the ordinary days can be.

Nearly died about three seconds into spin class but we made it 😂

Trying to make more time for the things that make me feel good, even if it means pushing myself out of my comfort zone a little.

Turns out actually showing up is half the battle. The other half is trying to breathe through a spin class! Love you, Ailish xxx by @allthingsailish
