#October was a month of purpose, celebration and reflection.

(1) Supporting a beautiful cause at the First Ladies Brunch benefiting Genesis Women’s Shelter, (2) exercising my civic duty, (3-4)celebrating my Daddy’s well-deserved retirement and (5) gathering to say goodbye to my cousin.

Some moments were filled with joy, others with sadness, but all were reminders of what matters most. Family, love, legacy and being present for it all.

Rest in peace, Robert H. 🕊️❤️ by @allysoncreates

Me and my Baby Boomers just voted. It’s so funny watching them use anything digital. We got it done though!!! #GoVote #Texas by @allysoncreates

Welp. September was busy!!! Went to the R&B tour …. Twice. Celebrated my Dad’s 82 birthday. My babies went to Homecoming, OCC celebrated 18 years, and my friend celebrated my belated birthday. It’s never too late to celebrate!!!

Hello October! Thankful for the rain.

I went outside again last night. Yes, I went twice.
And yes, I had a blast.

This young man is 82 today!!! Happy Birthday to my Daddy!!! by @allysoncreates

August was exactly what I needed.

I spent close to a month in Seattle, traded the triple-digit heat for cool mornings and sweatshirt weather and gave myself permission to slow down for a minute.

I celebrated 49 in the 49th state with an Alaska cruise, beautiful views, good friends, lots of laughs and special memories.

And I’m especially grateful for my favorite Auntie for loving me well while I took my Seattle sabbatical. ❤️

It was a month to rest. Reset. Breathe. Enjoy. And just BE.

Now I’m back home, back in these disrespectful temperatures and it’s time to get this party started again. September… let’s see what you’ve got. This begins year 20 of @airdesigns.

This morning I didn’t even know there was a Cowboys game in Seattle today.

I was talking to a Cowboys hater who made a comment about me being in town just for my team to get beat. Well… a few minutes later, I purchased a ticket!

On my way to the stadium, I met some really nice ladies. They asked if I was alone, and when I said yes, they said, “Come sit with us. We have an extra ticket.”

Y’all… they had REALLY good seats!

And the funny thing is, when I think about it, this may actually be my first professional football game. I know it’s preseason. I know the win doesn’t count. But I had a GREAT time! I really enjoy new experiences. And even if I have to go alone, I never want to miss out waiting for somebody else to go with me.

So, to the Cowboys hater, thank you for telling me about the game. And thank you to those sweet ladies for making my first professional football game even better. ❤️

And yes… HOW ’BOUT THEM COWBOYS?! 💙🏈 by @allysoncreates

Welp. #49inthe49th is done and it was a rejuvenating time. Everyone says that #Alaska is beautiful, but the pictures really do it no justice.

Shout out to my birthday travel buddies and all of you for the birthday shoutouts. I feel deeply loved. Many Blessings! 49!!!!!

Today I’m 49.

Not “almost 50.” Just 49.

Lately I’ve been focused on being so close to 50, but I’ve decided to change my mindset and just focus on this season! This year deserves its own moment, so I’m cruising in Alaska, “the Last Frontier”, to celebrate the Last Frontier of my 40s. There’s something fitting about standing in a place that reminds you there’s always more to explore.

Cheers to another year of learning, growing, traveling, and embracing whatever comes next. 49… LET’s DO THIS BOO!

Some people call him Yuriah. Others call him Kaleb. But to me, he’ll always be “Pops.” ❤️ I honestly don’t know how we got here so fast. My nephew is officially starting his senior year, and I’m all in my feelings about it. Class of 2027!!

We baked in this Texas sun painting his reserved senior parking spot. And it was a joy! The design is all about him—his love for basketball and his jersey #4.

Pops, Keep working hard and enjoy every single moment of your senior year because it goes by so quickly! ❤️🏀. -TiTi

Watching the next generation #create is one of my favorite things. My niecey-poo spent part of her summer in a STEAM/Creative program where she got to design her very own custom sneaker. Yesterday, they held an art show to showcase all of the students’ designs, and I was blown away.

I absolutely LOVED her shoe! She did a great job, and I couldn’t be more proud of her. Creativity, confidence, and hard work all wrapped up into one incredible design…. The Blue Horizons.

Keep dreaming big and creating boldly, sweet girl. #RhodesRollins @mirasaidwhat by @allysoncreates

I am not an influencer and never will be!!

However, I made a promise to myself: I’m getting out of the house more and I am going to document it! The last 6 months of 2026, I’m committing to doing at least 3 things each month that refills my cup and recharges my creativity.

I was literally in bed taking a nap when @truss1978 called and said, “Let’s go to this exhibit in Fort Worth.” My first thought? Fort Worth?! That’s far! 😩😂. But the exhibit is leaving this weekend, I had finished working for the day, and I decided to get up and go.

I’m so glad I did.

As a photographer, there’s something incredibly inspiring about experiencing the work of other artists. It reminds you why you fell in love with storytelling in the first place.

Black Photojournalism is powerful. It captures history, joy, resilience, culture, and everyday moments that deserve to be seen and remembered. We have so many incredible stories to tell.
