POSTS STORIES REELS

This autumn marks my 20th New York City Anniversary. I moved to Manhattan to attend @nyutischdance in Fall of 2006, and this weird and wonderful place is still my home in Fall of 2026. I have now seen many other cities, and lived in a lot of them, but there is truly nothing like NYC magic. Here’s to many more years of friendship and happenstance and motion and sway.

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL DANCE DAY.

(Missed it by a couple hours, but shhh) Dance was of my first great loves. I feel so fortunate that it’s still part of my job, even tho now I’m behind the camera or stage rather than on in front of or on it. Here’s me and queen @alm433 8 (??!?) years ago during our tuacahn days. Moses Supposes backwards and in heels, baby! And king @michael.hopewell.music who was VERY kind to play with us.

Thank god for dance. Now where even ARE my tap shoes? 🤔 by @alm433

In case you didn’t know, I like to flip and throw my body around. by @alm433

A special night sharing a show that came out of my brain with family and friends 💀

I didn’t take nearly enough pictures, because I was running around, so I stole some.

Endless thanks to @davidgpica @kristinyancy @thomhenke and everyone who came out to christen my backyard with its first reading. If you want to host a reading of your show in my magical backyard, let me know 🍂

We get to open in midtown September 2027. Get excited.

Happy Closing to this spectacular production of Les Mis I was privileged to be able to choreograph. I’ll never forget hearing “One Day More” echo off the canyon - the earth singing back to us.
