A few words from our board 🗣️🗣️ #ForTheCity #WichitaMade by @almadinahfc
It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of one of our own. 💔🕊️ Our club has lost not just a player, but a brother and a beloved member of our soccer family. He was right with us since the creation of the club. Bader was a tremendous talent with flair, creativity and speed. You could always count on him on and off the pitch. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, teammates, and everyone who knew and loved him during this incredibly difficult time. You will forever be a part of our family. May you rest in peace. 🕊️🤍 by @almadinahfc
Our hearts are with everyone affected by the tragedy at Stryker Sports Complex. We extend our deepest condolences to the families who lost loved ones and keep all those affected, their families, and the entire soccer community in our thoughts and prayers. In this difficult time, we stand together as one community. 💚 by @almadinahfc
FOR THE CITY. FOR THE NEXT GENERATION. ⚽️ “We’re incredibly excited to grow to five youth teams in a single season and to give more families in Wichita the opportunity to be part of Al-Madinah. Our goal is to provide high-level coaching and a quality soccer experience while keeping the program affordable and accessible…” — Safwan Islam, President Read the full story in our latest blog. This past weekend, we competed in the Sunflower State Super Cup in Kansas City, Missouri, and what a run it was. Five straight wins earned us a place in the championship match: ✅ 7-1 ✅ 2-1 ✅ 3-2 ✅ 3-0 (Quarterfinal) ✅ 3-1 (Semifinal) The final ended 0-0 after a hard-fought battle against a very talented side from Nashville. In the end, the championship was decided by penalty kicks. We return to Wichita as Sunflower State Super Cup runners-up, bringing home the 2nd place trophy and $5,000 in prize money. We’re incredibly proud of our players, coaches, and staff for the resilience, determination, and quality they showed throughout the weekend. While we fell just short of the title, this tournament was another step forward for our club, and we’ll use it as motivation to keep growing. A huge thank you to everyone who traveled, watched, and supported us throughout the weekend. We’ll be back. 💚⚽️ #ForTheCity #WichitaMade by @almadinahfc
