💙💛 Happy 22nd 💙💛
In recognition of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, the women of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Lambda Mu Sigma Alumnae Chapter, were honored to deliver donations to Kapiʻolani Medical Center for Women & Children in support of the families navigating the heartbreaking journey of pregnancy and infant loss.

We recognize that behind every loss is a family, a story, and a love that lasts a lifetime. Our hope is that these donations serve as a reminder that no family has to navigate grief alone and that compassion, community, and support can make a meaningful difference.

💙💛We stand in solidarity with those whose journeys include loss.
Through service and sisterhood, we remain committed to showing up for our community with love, purpose, and compassion.
Greater Service, Greater Progress. 💙💛

Thank you to all who contributed to this donation. We are so grateful!

💚 WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY | OCTOBER 10 💚

Today, we are reminded that mental health is just as important as physical health. Behind every smile, every achievement, and every act of strength, there may be a story that deserves compassion, understanding, and support.

Let’s continue to break the stigma surrounding mental health, encourage open conversations, and remind one another that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. 💚

✨ Check on your loved ones. Check on yourself. Give yourself permission to rest, to heal, and to ask for help when you need it.

Because caring for our mental health is an act of self-love, and supporting the mental wellness of others is an act of service.

💙💛 Greater Service, Greater Progress.

This October, the Lambda Mu Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. stands in solidarity with breast cancer fighters, survivors, thrivers, and the families and loved ones who walk alongside them. 💗

Breast cancer awareness is about education, early detection, regular screenings, and empowering one another to prioritize our health.

As women committed to service, sisterhood, and community impact, we encourage everyone to:
🎀 Know your family history and personal risk factors.
🎀 Talk with your healthcare provider about recommended screenings.
🎀 Support survivors and honor the memories of those we've lost.
🎀 Share resources, spread awareness, and encourage the women in your life to prioritize their health.

💗 A sisterhood that cares is a sisterhood that shares. Together, we can uplift, educate, advocate, and help save lives.

💙💛 Greater Service, Greater Progress!

💜 OCTOBER IS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH 💜

Domestic violence is more than physical violence.

It can look like controlling behavior, intimidation, isolation, financial abuse, threats, stalking, coercive control, or emotional and psychological abuse. No one deserves to live in fear, and no one should have to navigate abuse alone.

This month, we stand with survivors and remind our community:

💜 You are not alone.
💜 You deserve safety, respect, and healthy relationships.
💜 Help is available.

🚨 If you are in immediate danger, call 911.

If you are supporting someone experiencing domestic violence, listen without judgment, believe them, respect their decisions, and help connect them with professional resources. Leaving an abusive relationship can be complicated and dangerous, and safety planning is important.

You don't have to see the wounds to believe the story.
You don't have to understand the entire situation to offer support.
And you don't have to face it alone.

💜 Healthy relationships are built on safety, respect, trust, equality, and freedom-not fear, power, and control.
