Should I give these boots a chance? As a girly pop (lol), I just haven’t been able to like these kinds of boots. I tried it but I just can’t seem to get down with it but maybe because I don’t pair it with the right things because I see girls that land when they rock them or maybe it’s the mental block of them being construction boots. Idk. But before I commit…or dismiss…give me some feedback. Are they for me or working against me? 😂 Y’all gone have me out here like librarian #ironbae trying things out and asking what y’all think in a minute. 😂 by @alonaleoine

6 inch! So my friend @morgan_nichol_official has a new song called ONE WAY TICKET and I was like…let me add this to one of my @imgmodels @victoriassecret #vsangel audition practice videos because I can see myself walking on the Annual Victoria’s Secret Runway Fashion Show stage to one of her songs!!! #SpeakIt #BelieveIt #LiveIt #feminineenergy
.
PS @jerdecor at @jerdecorfmc …I didn’t do horrible because I definitely slayed but ummm… I think I’m alittle rusty and need a runway walk touch up from one of your coaching sessions.☺️ by @alonaleoine

#Models Chime in! What do you do? When it comes to editorial/commercial modeling…Sometimes I don’t know what I want to pose like so I just record myself doing different pose ideas AND THEN I watch it over and decide on what feels like a hit and which ideas I should ditch or try to perfect. Anyone else got any practice/training techniques they use? #modellife #feminine #femininity #melaningoddess by @alonaleoine

The #Hillman Legacy continues… #ADifferentWorld sequel premieres in 3 days (Sept 24th) on @netflix with the Class of 2030!!! I’m so excited and I wish I could’ve auditioned but it was too soon after losing my very close auntie and others but who knows what the future holds!!! @adifferentworld8793

For those who don’t know…this is…Decades in the making. Not only did my mother watch the original over and over but she shared this blessing with me when I was very very young and I continued to watch seasons over and over again growing up. I still watch it now!!! I would’ve loved to have been on the show but who knows what the future holds. Nonetheless, this show has been an HONORABLE staple in Black Culture and even in College Culture and I understand why my mother wanted to raise me in mental likeness and awareness within the different role models on the show! I appreciate that and I honor her foresight because look at me now today!!! Just wait until I have children!!! They are going to Thank me, too, for raising them on this show!
.
Furthermore, I want to shoutout @therealdebbieallen @iamjasmineguy and my birthday twin @kadeemhardison for pushing for this project even after 39 years!!! Thank you to @feliciapride who has been the creative force spearheading this project!!! And thank you to alllll the cast members, both past and present, for your contribution to Black TV History!!! (PS Did ya’ll know the sequel for the premiere happens to be the date of the original premiere of the first episode for @adifferentworld8793 ?) Shoutout to casting director @therealkimcoleman !!! She’s always spot on!!! @strongblacklead !!! As a true fan, I wonder if @madamefaleshill @rockthefilm and @gpbmadeit keeps the show true to its integrity, comedic pace, and social awareness.
.
Sidenote…You can start binge watching at 3am est…that’s the official drop time on Netflix !!! Give it that good ole double thumbs up!!!

Advice to the Freshmen (and others)… When you’re a #umichstudent … you GOTTA learn to Refresh, Release, Rest, Reset and be the Victors you came here to be! Because if you don’t…how do you expect to be one of the Leaders and The Best? Allot time to get yourself mentally, emotionally, and productively prepared to take on the next day so you can continue to push forward! Fully recharge yourself daily so you can stay ready so you don’t have to get ready! Take care of yourself Wolverines!!!

Sincerely, Alona Leoine 🤗💋
