Wednesday at @alphawhiskeytactical in Harrisburg. This one day Workshop will begin with a review of the basic principles of room clearing, both as part of a small team and as a lone responder. We will cover hallways, the threshold, entering a room, and clearing. We will discuss when and why you should use speed, and when you should be slow and methodical. This class uses man-marking rounds. We will have all the protective equipment needed for the class. We will also have drop-in bolts for use in your AR-type Patrol Rifle to use. That way you can use YOUR gun through the course of fire, getting the most out of the training. There will also be SIM Glocks available.

Topics will be covered in a classroom environment but with most of the time spent in the simulation lab.

Took our first trip out to @alphawhiskeytactical to teach a 1 day intro into dynamic CQB, and Mechanical breaching.

Officers hit the deck running with multiple reps inside the house understand the principles of dynamic cqb and execution. We focused about 10% of the course on the class room to focus more on practical application skills and reps to get these officers familiar with the concepts.

Hats off to a facility that’s up and coming in the keystone states.

We just finished up Dynamics of a Gunfight - Day One and Two at @alphawhiskeytactical in Harrisburg. Two days filled with decision-making under pressure and intense scenarios. Students learned just as much from mistakes as from successes. An essential element was the AAR after each scenario. We will be back at Alpha Whisky Tactical October 14th for Law Enforcement Officer CQC Workshop. #lodestone #principlebasedtraining #forceonforce #lightfighter #lodestonetac by @alphawhiskeytactical

The Dynamics of a Gunfight Series by Lodestone Training and Consulting bridges the gap between flat-range classes and scenario-based, Force-on-Force classes. This series of classes breaks down a gunfight to its primitive form. By using Airsoft, Sims, and UTMs in this setting, students will experience multiple repetitions against live opponents in each drill. The Dynamics of a Gunfight Series was created and is taught by instructors who have won multiple gunfights and are sharing their real-world experiences with the students. Basically, everything they wish they had known before the first bullet went past their head. I know all the focus this week is on the Pennsylvania Light Fighter Challenge, but next weekend, September 25-26, we are running one of our most important courses: Dynamics of a Gunfight.
The Dynamics of a Gunfight Series by Lodestone Training and Consulting bridges the gap between flat range classes and scenario-based, Force-on-Force classes. This series of classes breaks down a gunfight to its primitive form. By using a mixture of Airsoft and Simunition guns in this setting, students will experience multiple repetitions against live opponents in each drill. Sometimes there is a fine line between fantasy camp and real training. The Dynamics of a Gunfight Series was created and is taught by instructors who have won multiple gunfights and are sharing their real-world experiences with the students. Basically, everything they wish they had known before the first bullet went past their head.
This training is intended for everyone and is one of the most educational experiences you can have. For more information and to register, go to the Lodestone Website. #lodestone #principlebasedtraining #forceonforce #lightfighter #lodestonetac by @alphawhiskeytactical
