šŸšØ OUT NOW: SECOND NATURE šŸšØ The wait is finally over! My new EP is officially live on Bom Shanka Music. āš”ļøšŸŒ€ This release has been a long time in the makingā€”originally starting as a full album, I distilled it down to the strongest four tracks that truly represent the sound I wanted to capture. No filler, just pure dancefloor pressure. Massive thanks to the Bom Shanka Music family for the support and belief in this vision. šŸ”— Grab your copy on Bandcamp or stream it on all platforms. šŸ”ŠšŸ”„ #Alta #SecondNature #BomShankaMusic #Psytrance #NewMusic #PsychedelicTrance by @alta_psymmetrix
My Alta album is out today! So foocking buy it. (or at least listen to it) Sorry if I'm coming across as slightly aggressive, butā€¦flock itā€¦the world is tough and we all need a bit of positivity in our lives sometimes šŸ™‚ If you are thinkingā€¦why the flock would I even click on the link after that round of expletives, from a guy that hasn't even said hello to me in years.. Wellā€¦ Hereā€™s a spiel thenā€¦ Iā€™ve been working on this (on and off) for the past two years, what started out as a 17-track opus of all the best alta tracks from the last 10 years was slowly whittled down to just these 8 As I worked and reworked the tracklist it was these 8 guys that kept jumping up at me. The Chosen 8! Essentially speaking, everything just fell into place, the track order pretty much chose itself, and it wasn't originally the plan to make a purely re-mix album, that again just happened. Born out of frustration, to be honest, I mean let's face it the covid years hit us all pretty hard and I found myself again falling through the gaps. Working on this album became my solace, a safety blanket to crawl under while the storm was passing. Yeah, I could have released this a year ago, but I was likeā€¦ ā€˜Iā€™ve gone this farā€™ I might as well continue and make this sound as good as possible, squeezing every last drop of sound until it's all there. A dynamic bundle of tracks that have become a part of me https://www.beatport.com/release/double-infinity/4705867 Currently exclusive to beatport...then it will be on both the bomshanka and Zero1 bandcamps.... #Psytrance #BomShankaMusic #PsychedelicMusic #PsytranceCulture #zero1hasmorefun #psychedelic #psychedelicart #bomshankamusic #Ozora by @alta_psymmetrix
Tron made this video during the last track of my set, all the hard work had paid off and now it's just time to dance around like a lunatic and wave my tee-shirt in the air! It's safe to say I was having a good time. I love this scene and I love this music. Thank the gods I discovered psy-trance back in 1997, for years I was a dancer and I started making electronic music in 2003, by 2007 we had started bomshanka musicā€¦it's been a ride but, The most important people in a festival are the dancers, that's the whole reason we are here in the first place! Zero1 and bomshanka musicā€¦. October didnā€™t knockā€¦. it kicked the door in. New bom Shanka site , new collection, gigs, friends, building my next empire from scratch, and honestly? I wouldnā€™t have it any other way. BOM SHANKA MUSIC ā€” NEW GEN INCOMING šŸ”Š Demo submissions closed yesterday. Massive thank you to every producer who sent us their music and trusted us with their sound. šŸ–¤ For the next few months Al and I will be choosing this next generation together, looking for artists with their own identity and something fresh to bring to the underground. Weā€™re looking to welcome between 1 and 3 new artists, depending on who we find and whose sound genuinely fits the future of Bom Shanka Music. Psytrance roots. Techno energy. A new generation with something to say. Weā€™ll announce our New Gen selections on 1 January in line with our 20 year anniversary! We want you to be part of the next stage ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„ Big love to everyone who put themselves forward.
