GHOST from ”HAVET” 🎂 the voice is my most direct, unfiltered, versatile and personal musical instrument. Melodies appear, not because my piano fingers played them a million times before, but because my body and mind somehow felt the need to create it. A year ago, my friend asked me for the one thing I was postponing but would Love to try, the answer was simple: my voice. Not just to communicate words and melodies, but as a tool to explore what would come out. It took a while to get passed feeling embarrassed, even with my closest. Then learning to let whatever emotions come out to write the song that has to be written, without pushing it somewhere it doesn’t want to be. Today I see the voice as maybe the most powerful sound in my producer toolbox. Easy to record and edit. Bringing instant human feel, whatever the body and mind wants to ”talk and vent about” that day. It’s therapy. Finding out shit about myself I’d never say out loud, without a melody to give it space and life. GHOST is a repetition, mantra, exercise, a vast open space to say whatever. And what you hear is a live, one take. The visuals were created in the same session, using Sensei @ebosuite. This one blew me away. 🎂 HAVET streaming & dload links in bio. by @alterfix
”CAVEMAN” from HAVET 🎂 the new album from Alterfix where all songs consist of improvised one-takes, recorded in short, intense production sessions. Keeping most of the raw material to resist perfectionism, endless tinkering and ”improving” every little silly detail until none of that original vibe I loved is left. A radical shift from spending nearly a decade before releasing my previous record Ön 🏝️, where I almost over-produced some of my favorite songs. CAVEMAN is a celebration of free creation, Thursdays, disciplined self-indulgence, uncompromised self-expression and just plain old fun. Hell yeah. (As opposed to the other darker songs) this track was sooo much f*cking fun to make and listen to. That same fun and excitement I felt all the time writing songs in my younger days :) jah blessings! Love y’all Real-time live 3D visuals created by me in Sensei @ebosuite with fireworks and cake-bounce syncing to sub kick. 🎂 HAVET streaming + dload links in bio by @alterfix
”WTF” from HAVET 🎂 chaos + melody, humming in a hurricane. The day I recorded this song I was NOT in a good mood. Angry, sad, tired af. Thinking: nothing good can come from this, so I named it ”WTF” right away. And when I sat down to write a song, all of those emotions came out, and I felt much better afterwards. This song is a perfect musical memory of that moment in time. Proving to myself that feeling inspired can be great, but is not a must. Raw feelings can also be a source of interesting music. This piece still touches me, because I hear myself being true and honest, floating through my negative thoughts to express something. All songs on HAVET still have the same work-in-progress title they were given as I started working on the track (except Black Bikini, originally called ”Dragon”), in order to keep that same original energy, straight from me to you. No extra cool names needed. Just the real stuff. Live real-time 3D visuals created using Sensei @ebosuite. Randomly generated objects and movements, with lights reacting to sound. 🎂 HAVET streaming + dload links in bio by @alterfix
”BROKEN” from HAVET 🎂 singing, vibing in my own world of sound. Sometimes words, maybe. Still feeling this is the most honest and true I’ve ever been in a released song, ever. Realtime visuals created in Sensei @ebosuite using 3D scans of a nightclub bathroom and 3D models. Generative lighting and camera movements using chance to create dark, random atmospheres. Thanks for listening/watching 🎂 HAVET streaming + dload links in bio by @alterfix
”JUICE” from HAVET 🎂 Vocal sounds - sometimes words. Pure vibes. Groove. Surfing on that beat, free, just me and my world - that is the closest to heaven I’ve been in a while. What you hear is me in total flow. Floating. Just letting it all out. It’s a very exposed state of mind, me at my most vulnerable. Grateful for the music that gets me there. This is not for everyone. Thanks for letting me be me. Live 3D visuals created using Sensei @ebosuite. The head reacts in real-time to the loudness of the voice, and the sub bass lights up the sky. Audiovisual wizardry! I’m home. Just love 🤎 🎂 HAVET streaming + dload links in bio. by @alterfix
🎂 Today was finally my birth+release day, after spending some time figuring out HAVET. After Ön, I wanted to create music faster, more playful and direct. HAVET is the result of experimenting with weekly, shorter, improvised, and often intense music sessions. Most recordings are the uncut, raw material, with that original energy of that session still intact. Sacrificing perfection to find my real voice and vibe. So thanks for listening! You are the best! Mega special thx to my fam, friends and @moni_s_touch for helping me making Thursday the best day 🤎 🎂 HAVET streaming + dload links in bio by @alterfix
