🌊 WE PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO YO FLOW 🌊

“Grandmama, she said all the jackals howl the same… and so this is how we sing.”

🎶 We pledge allegiance to the flow,
Great Sacred Mama Water, carriers of H₂O.
We pledge allegiance to the flow,
Great Sacred Mama Water, carriers of H₂O. 🎶

A sacred moment captured during the closing of one of my original songs, “While a Man’s Being Honest,” at Conscious Growth Convergence.

An offering of reverence to the sacred Mama water carriers. To the mothers who held us in the waters of their wombs, nurturing life before we ever took our first breath. Before we knew the rivers, the rains, or the oceans, we knew the waters of our mothers.

Giving thanks to the waters that sustain us, the mothers who carried us, the ancestors who guide us, and the sacred currents that connect us all. 💧

There's something powerful about sharing a song and witnessing it become something greater than ourselves through the voices, hearts, and presence of our kinfolk.

Much love & gratitude to @sagedaly, our liaison, for all her efforts, care, and coordination in helping bring everything together!

Big ups to @ashley.bonn of @cascadia.culture and Ben from @revivalgatherings Gathering Café for creating space for us to share our gifts!

And a mighty shout-out to the gifted musicians who helped bring this song to life:

🎻 @elion_truth_heart — Violin
🪘 @codyshepherdmusic — Cajón
🎸 @jordy.nary — Bass
🎸 @altorremusic — Lead Guitar

And a special MAHALOLUJAH to my beloved Olivia for capturing and preserving such a beautiful moment in time.

To every soul who sang, listened, danced, and participated in this story — you are part of the song.

May we never forget that we are water, and water is life.

With love from the flow. 🌊

Maui ‘ohana — A Hui Hou 🤎
We’ve got one mo, before Trill hits the road— On Sunday, April 12, I’ll be in Ha’iku for a special farewell concert with my brother @trill_lebeau_ … our last time performing together live on Maui before this next chapter begins.
.
These past seasons have meant a lot... sharing music, prayer, rhythm, and connection with this island community. Truly grateful for all of you.
.
This night is a celebration of that - an intimate evening of soulful folk, storytelling, and immersive guitar soundscapes. If you’ve been meaning to come out, this is the one. by @altorremusic
