When I tell you what’s for you will never miss you… I MEAN THAT! God always has a plan in motion, trust it… trust HIM. I’m still processing everything that’s happened in the past few months but you all know that if I’m M.I.A. it’s usually because I’m cooking up something lol. I want to say a HUGE thank you to my sister from another mister, @iammoniquelauren for trusting and believing in me always 🥹. We went from The BET Awards, to Hollywood Squares, to the MLB All-Star Game and it was wild, crazy, fun, exciting and everything in between. Did we even sleep?! 😅🤪. Thank you for affording me the creative space to work alongside you as your Assistant Costume Designer, I cannot wait to see what God has next for us. To our amazing team and the many hands and hearts that came together to make this show a success, thank you! I couldn’t have asked for better or more talented people to collaborate with! Thank you for bringing our vision to life, for rolling with the punches and enduring the hiccups. Y’all are my rock, I love y’all soo much 🥹. To Jesse, Dionne, JCE & the MLB, thank you for allowing us to play and create, I hope we made y’all proud! To Ludacris, Jermaine Dupri, DJ Infamous, & Kane Brown… thank you for giving us the opportunity to make y’all look good! To the incredible group of dancers who made our costumes shine, thank you! I hope each of you felt as beautiful as you looked. Y’all ATE. I also got to celebrate this milestone with my baby bro and man it feels so great to have a solid support system. Thank you for bringing the fun and the pregame! It was so fun to dress you for the event and to see you be the center of attention even amongst creatives haha. I love you beyond words, thanks for always being my ride or die. Spectacular, give us 15 more of them 💫 #Emmys #TelevisionAcademy #ThankYou #Ahsoka #StarWars by @alyshadanyelle
I don’t even know where to begin… I truly believe God puts us right where we need to be, EXACTLY when we need to be there and this award is the manifestation of all the people who answered the call. Shawna, we love you beyond words and we felt your presence on stage with us as we honored your vision and leadership. You are truly missed and none of this would exist without you! Thank you for bringing together such a special collection of passionate people and for encouraging us to contribute and be seen. Devon, my fabulous mentor and friend… I am beyond proud of you!! Congratulations on your exceptional achievement! I’m elated to have had the honor of coordinating on Ahsoka alongside you and supporting you throughout this journey. To our amazing costumes crew, thank you for banding together during those shared late nights and early mornings… for the hustle and hard work and for being the thread that wove us into the fabric of the Star Wars universe for eternity. Thank you to @27crossroads and @stefaniecytron for being such fearless and motivated leaders in our department and for helping to maintain the highest standard of excellence. Thank you to Dave, Jon and the entire LucasFilm & Disney family for inviting us to contribute to the realization of your dream. A huge thank you to my dad, Everett, and brother, @allunzoe, who have never stopped cheering for me and encouraging me to take on new challenges. Thank you for being a huge support and source of inspiration, this is for you guys. Thank you to The Academy for recognizing the detail and passion that went into our series and for our outstanding nominated peers for sharing space with us. Thank you to the Star Wars fans for receiving our work with open arms, and for the amazing cosplays we’ve seen of our characters… you guys are some of the harshest critics in the world and I’m so glad we got it right for you. May the force be with you all. And a very special thank you to @michellecolecostumedesign who took a chance on me as a PA all those years ago on Blackish. We did it, Joe! Let’s do it again on another one! #EmmyAwards #Ahsoka #TVCostumes #76thEmmyAwards #StarWars by @alyshadanyelle
When life gives you peaches… add bourbon 🥃 || Made lots of memories over the last couple months in ATL. Had the chance to work with a close friend and a really amazing costumes crew on a HartBeat Production, caught up with some family, made some really badass new friends and ate maybe a *little* too much good food lol. Till next time 🍑✨ by @alyshadanyelle
Ohana means family && mine is HUGE. So grateful to @michellecolecostumedesign for being so generous and giving… fostering so many beautiful and amazing people in this wild and crazy industry. God shines His light through you and I am so humbled to be one extension of many. Look at just how far the light touches and this isn’t even the whole familia. Love you all 💖✨ by @alyshadanyelle
Cheers to the end of an era! 🥂 Michelle, only you could bring together so many fabulous and talented individuals. It was truly a pleasure celebrating your beautiful work on Grownish and being reunited with our amazing little family 💖. One thing’s for sure, we will ride with you through it all. Love you to the ends of the earth & back again 💫 by @alyshadanyelle

I didn’t know Shawna for as long as many others, but that’s the thing about Shawna… you didn’t need to be around her for long to be profoundly impacted by her. Her light and energy engulfed you immediately and drew you in, and Shawna was one to embrace and uplift everyone around her. I will never forget her pulling me into the room and handing me a pair of fabric shears while pointing to a trove of fabrics and notions, inviting me into the creative process of character development for Bandits with some of her veteran creatives. Or how she trusted me to work alongside those same talented individuals to bring her and Dave’s vision to life on the Night Troopers. Shawna saw something in everyone around her and had the gift of latching onto what she saw and bringing it out of them. I’ll never forget her personally driving me to set and walking me through the backlot, introducing me to Dave Filoni himself and being so excited to share the magic of Star Wars and LucasFilm with me on an individual level. I will forever cherish the time I was blessed to spend with her, and the private conversations we had. The impact she made and her unique way of empowering and inspiring those around her will never fade. Shawna, thank you for the memories, and for the wise words and reminders you shared with your devoted crew daily. Your passion and creativity have left a forever mark on SO many. May you rest peacefully, perhaps In a Galaxy Far, Far Away… but never far from the hearts of those you impacted. 💫 by @alyshadanyelle
