I find it really interesting that Product Managers has little to no direct authority yet is expected to deliver Product Success.

So it’s essential that we must communicate with clarity. Going beyond and being able to translate data and information so it makes sense to individual/unique teams.

The hope in this is that it’s a skill that can practiced and perfected. So how will you be proactive?

Apple’s product success isn’t just design, it can be attributed to its simplicity.

Not every great product decision comes from a textbook answer or even a playbook. Sometimes, it’s about trusting your gut, trusting the vibe.

It’s about building from instinct, intuition, and creative energy.

Do product managers secretly feel like imposters?

Sure, we’re not specialists in certain rights.

Specially for someone entering the PM field without any formal education in engineering, software, design, marketing etc etc and we sit with people that do have such qualifications.

But quite often what separates PMs from specialists is their focus on product outcomes. Working with everyone, collaborating and ensuring everyone is synced or aligned.

How have you dealt with the imposter syndrome?

The toys of previous generations don’t do as much.

As we have progressed through the ages, toys have begun to change.

Supply of plastic tied them to culture. Media franchises (Barbie & Pokemon) turned them into identify markers and money machines. Then technology made them more interactive and immersive.

Now we’re entering the next era… an age of AI companions.

Curio has seen this and has developed their AI-powered plush toys (Grok, Grem, and Gabbo) which aren’t just for play.

They listen. They challenge. And they adapt to a child’s curiosity - evolving with the children and sparking imagination without screens.

Which layers do you use?

AI represents the transition from being told what to do to now learning & responding.

The layers of AI is broken down into Machine Learning, Deep Learning & Large Language Models.

Personally, I would have loved to see the transition of Siri into an LLM… my view is that Apple fumbled this shift.

Which layer do you use?
