POSTS STORIES REELS

🎉 10 years ... TEN! 🎉

A whole decade ago, Amanda Marie Events began as a little dream, a side passion, and a leap of faith. At the time, I never could have imagined where this journey would take me, the incredible couples I would meet, the friendships I would build, the venues I would walk through, or the hundreds of memories I would have the privilege of being part of.

What started as something I poured my heart into on evenings, weekends, and summer breaks slowly grew into something bigger than I ever imagined.

This year feels especially meaningful because not only am I celebrating 10 years in business, but I also took one of the biggest leaps of my life and left my 9-to-5 career to pursue this dream full-time recently.

If you’ve been here for a while, you know this business was built alongside another career, late nights, early mornings, countless weekends, and a whole lot of determination. There were moments I questioned myself, moments I wondered if it would ever become what I hoped it could be. But somehow, year after year, it continued to grow.

And now here we are.

10 years later, doing work that fills my heart, serving the most incredible couples, collaborating with talented vendors, and building a business that has become so much more than I ever dreamed possible.

I am incredibly proud of what I’ve built. Grateful for every couple who trusted me, every vendor who has supported me, every referral, every kind review, every cheerleader, friend, family member, and follower who has been part of this journey.

The last 10 years have been beyond anything I could have imagined.

But the most exciting part?

I truly feel like we’re just getting started.

Here’s to the next chapter, bigger dreams, new opportunities, more celebrations, and continuing to create unforgettable wedding days for years to come.

Thank you for being here. 🤍

Cheers to 10 years of Amanda Marie Events!

The good news? The shoe survived! 🥳

After a quick emergency repair, she danced all night long and even walked out wearing them at the end of the evening.

What you don’t always see behind the scenes is that while fixing a shoe, we're simultaneously setting up décor, coordinating vendors, answering questions, cueing the ceremony, managing the timeline, directing guests, troubleshooting surprises, and keeping everything moving exactly as it should.

Wedding days are full of moments you can plan for and being real, plenty that you can’t.

No one schedules a broken shoe, a missing boutonnière, a forgotten vow book, or a last-minute timeline adjustment. But that’s exactly why we’re there.

It’s never just about running a timeline.

It’s about having a team of people who can adapt in real time, solve problems before they become stress, and handle the unexpected so our couples can stay fully present in the moments that matter most.

The shoe was fixed.
The timeline stayed on track.
The décor was set.
The vendors were supported.
The dance floor stayed full.

The moments you never see are often the ones that make the biggest difference.

Calm in the chaos. Present in the moments. 🤍

Paisley & Omar said their vows to one another surrounded by candles, close friends, and beneath the exquisite stained glass ceiling of The Permanent. As the light faded and the energy amped up, the wedding transitioned into a Masquerade Ball, making my photography dreams come true!

As grand as this wedding was, it felt so intimate and warm and full of love. Thank you for trusting me to document it 💕

Still taking this one in .. at the very TOP this year and celebrating FOUR years of being recognized! 🥹❤️

I’m beyond excited to share that @amandamarieevents__ has once again been awarded in the Top 3 Wedding Planners in Langley, for the fourth consecutive year.

But today, this recognition hits a little differently. 🤍

This past year has been incredible in more ways than I can put into words. From the growth of my business and team, to the relationships built, the opportunities that have come, and the wonderful people I’ve had the privilege of working alongside.

To my couples, past, present, and those I’ll have the pleasure of working with in the future, thank you for putting your trust in me and my team, welcoming us into such an important part of your lives, and allowing us to be part of your stories. The relationships I build with each of you mean so much and I’m endlessly grateful for every single one of you.

To my amazing team, thank you for the countless hours, hard work, laughs, endless support and everything in between. Having people who care just as deeply about our couples and their experience is something I never take for granted, I truly couldn’t do this without you.

And to the talented vendors and industry friends I’ve had the pleasure of working with, thank you for another year of collaboration, support, friendships, and showing up for one another. This industry has brought some pretty special people into my life, and that's one of my favourite parts.

When I think about where this business started and where it is today, I feel an overwhelming amount of gratitude. There has been so much heart, hard work, and dedication poured into building Amanda Marie Events over the years, and moments like this remind me just how much it all means.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being part of this journey. 🥰

The voicemail can wait. 📞💃

You’ve got all your favourite people in one room, the music is going, and the dance floor is calling. Pretty sure whoever’s on the other end can wait until tomorrow.

And that’s exactly how we want you to spend your day. Fully in the moment, while we handle everything happening behind the scenes.

As for your guests, they can leave a little love after the beep. 🙊

E & S's Canada Day wedding was full of personality, beautiful details, and a dance floor filled with all the moves ✨

It was so fun being part of the planning process with these two .. the laughs, memories, and decision making. From putting all the pieces together over the months leading up to their day to finally seeing it all come to life and watching them enjoy every minute with their loved ones, the best feeling.

From wood-fired pizza for dinner to not one but TWO horse trailers serving cocktails in one, coffee in the other, an ice cream cart, and cookies for every guest, there were so many personal touches sprinkled throughout their day.

We can't forget their outfit change for the reception, bringing a beautiful touch of heritage into the celebration. And can we just talk about how incredible they looked in BOTH looks?! 😍

E & S, thank you for having me alongside you throughout the planning and for trusting my team and I to bring everything all together on the special day!

And a BIG shoutout to the incredible vendor team who worked alongside us to make this day happen! 🤍

Would you notice this on your day? 👀

Lipstick on a wine glass, cloudy glassware, even cracked glass! These are just a few things we’ve caught while checking rentals during wedding setups.

And while the occasional thing can slip through when hundreds of pieces are being cleaned, packed and delivered, it’s exactly why we always recommend ordering a few extras!

It’s also a little reminder that having a wedding planner goes far beyond timelines and coordinating vendors.

We’re checking the details, catching the unexpected and taking care of things before your guests ever walk through the doors.

The best part? You’ll probably never even know it happened. 🤍

THIS. RIGHT. HERE. 🥹🤍

The moment when your bride looks around, takes it all in and tells you how amazing it all looks and thanks you for everything you’ve done. And clearly, I have absolutely no ability to hide how much that means to me 🙈

There’s just something about seeing all those months of planning, conversations, decisions and little details finally come together. But even more than that, seeing my couples genuinely happy, relaxed and enjoying the day they’ve been looking forward to for so long.

I put my whole heart into what I do, and moments like this get me EVERY time. The excitement, the happy tears, the hugs, the gratitude. I feel it all right alongside my couples.

I think this photo says it all about the passion and emotion that goes into what I do. 🤍 A HUGE thank you to @juliechristinephotography for capturing this moment and giving me the chance to see it from a different perspective!
