Happy belated birthday, Dad. You are the kindest, most steady, and most intelligent man I know. Your presence brings a sense of safety and calm that’s rare, and your wisdom has guided so many moments in life. You pour your heart into everything you do. Whether it’s programing, capturing life behind the camera, gaming, or exploring the latest tech. Your quiet strength, patience, and generosity touch everyone around you. Being with you feels like home. I love you deeply and celebrate you today and always. P.S: Thanks for always being my reader, putting up with my creative shenanigans, and for the endless support. Love your Princess 🩷 by @amandamisek

Happy Birthday, Mama, Mãe, Mama Dukes, Mama Misek, MAH 🩷 I admire you so much for your wisdom, your strength, and the way you always put family first. You are a woman with a huge heart, and I’ve been lucky to spend 30 years getting to know you, watching you grow and evolve. Your curiosity about the world, your love of learning, and your kindness toward others inspire me every day. You’ve shown me how to care for the people you love, how to stand your ground, and how a petite woman can still kick ass and make grown men shake in their boots. But above all, I’m proud of your resilience. No matter what life throws at you, stress, setbacks, difficult moments, you rise back up with determination, humor, and that spark only you have. Your silliness, your strength, and your ability to keep moving forward make you someone I look up to more than you know. Love you endlessly 💖 Your Boneca by @amandamisek

My Avô, Manuel Matos ❤️ I’ve been missing him a lot lately. I miss watching soccer with him. I miss sneaking up on him to tickle his feet, then running away laughing hysterically. I miss him asking if I’d found my Portuguese husband yet. (His biggest wish for me) I miss his silliness. I miss hearing his iconic “Wheap!” — the warning that we were about to be in trouble. I miss him telling me how much he loved my grandma, how she was his princess. I miss hearing him talk about how he prays for me and wants me to keep doing good. I miss him asking, “Where’s Amanda?” just to pull me out of my shyness. I miss his cooking. I miss his stories of Portugal. I miss his laugh. I miss his big hugs. Forever missing you, and forever grateful to have you as my Avô. Love, Your Mosquita by @amandamisek

It deeply saddens me to hear about the passing of Chris Di Staulo. Chris was such a kind and inspiring soul whose creativity touched so many. I’m forever grateful for the opportunities he gave me early in my career, his words of encouragement, and the light he brought into every space he entered. It breaks my heart that we won’t get to see him again or all the incredible things he was going to create. He’ll be deeply missed. Rest in peace, Chris. 🤍 by @amandamisek
