POSTS STORIES REELS

Hi Friends, I never properly introduced myself.

I’m a millennial who grew up on Spice Girls, Gilmore Girls, and 90’s/2000’s romcom movies.

I didn’t get into reading until college, then during the pandemic I discovered booktok while caring for my grandma. My first full year I read 105 books, mostly romance and romantasy.

If you love reading, cozy hobbies, and cute little black kitties, let’s be friends.

What do we have in common? 📚 🐈‍⬛ 🎨

The last few days have been filled with baking, cooking, reading, and enjoying this cold weather. I made shepherds pie with sweet potatoes and sourdough crackers. 🤤

Who else wants to stay home and be cozy?

Every year I get a Katie Daisy’s calendar. These tear off ones are great for journaling.

I love the fall!! 🍁 🍂

These are the coziest slippers!! They’re Everfoam.

Minimalist Baker’s vegan shepherds pie is delicious!! I did a mix of sweet potatoes and gold potatoes.

Homemade Sourdough Crackers

Ingredients

* 1 cup flour (I use fresh-milled wheat)
* 1 cup sourdough discard
* ¼ cup melted coconut oil or butter
* ½ tsp everything bagel seasoning
* Extra seasoning for topping

Directions

1. Mix all ingredients until a dough forms. Add a splash of water if needed.
2. Roll very thin between two sheets of parchment paper.
3. Sprinkle with extra seasoning and cut into squares.
4. Bake at 425°F for 15–20 minutes until golden and crispy. Rotate the baking sheet halfway through.
5. Cool completely and store in an airtight container for 5–7 days.

Tip: The thinner you roll them, the crispier they’ll be!

I just love her!!

This was an interesting read to say the least. I couldn’t stop listening. The cat is like the Grim Reaper, but cuddlier. 😂 by @amandascaffinated

What are you reading this week? Have you read any of these books? 📚☕️💕

I have a thing for romance. It doesn’t matter if it’s romantasy, romcom, or a dystopian bachelor book. If it’s fast paced, has amazing banter, and angst I’ll probably read it in a day.

Have you read a book in a day? What was it?

This coloring book turns off my anxious mind. It’s stamp by shape and there’s only two colors to choose from for each shape. So no more decision fatigue. I love turning on a good audiobook and doing meditative coloring. It’s so relaxing.

I remember I was driving 8 hours to visit my family and decided to listen to Trickery by Jaymin Eve. At first I was annoyed with the narrator and then the book sucked me in. I even played it at 1 speed. 😅 Before this I had only read Nicholas Sparks and a few random romances in college. I couldn’t believe how fast paced and funny a book could be, especially a fantasy. What were the books that got you into reading? #books #romancebookstagrammer by @amandascaffinated

I tried out Arrtx alcohol pastel markers and I’m into them. They don’t dry as fast as my other markers but honestly I like that, it makes it way less streaky if you wait a few moments before going back over an area. The only downside is the paper gets a little wet. The alcohol smell is stronger too but I got used to it fast. My favorite part is the case it comes in, seriously why don’t all alcohol markers come with one? It should be standard.

After being in such a big reading slump, I’ve decided to reread books I read over a decade ago. I’m also going to read some of the bigger fantasy series I’ve heard are amazing, but they intimidated me because there were so many books. #bookworm #romantasy by @amandascaffinated

I’ve been in the worst reading slump this year. On a whim I picked up Broken Bonds from Libby and I finished it in a day. I had 25% of Savage Bonds read too. I’m trying to go slow on Savage Bonds because I’m waiting for the audiobook on Libby. Every book ends on a cliff hanger. 😅 The books are available on KU as well. I started to read The Things We Water while I wait and I forgot how much I adore Mariana Zapata’s writing. It’s so good! #books #bookslump #romantasy by @amandascaffinated

I’m halfway through The Brilliant Life of Eudora Honeysett and I love how the friendships are developing and the changes that are happening with Eudora. I look forward to listening to it everynight. #books #coloring by @amandascaffinated

I’ve been struggling to read more than a chapter a day the last few months. Now that I’m coloring nightly, I’ve been reading so much more! I listen to my audiobook while I color and then lay down and physically read. I’ve been sleeping so much better too. #bookstagram #coloring by @amandascaffinated

What a heartwarming book! I love how Eudora is slowly blossoming around Rose. If you enjoy feel good books that don’t skimp on life’s challenges, this one is fantastic. I’m listening on audio and I adore the narrator. #bookstagram #cozy #adultcoloringbook by @amandascaffinated
