If peace was a place, this would be mine! Sunrise, ocean breeze, the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks and my journal or watercolour! ✨

What’s your peace place?

What an experience it was to be part of this festival.

I thought I was just going to a music festival. Little did I know I’d end up helping set up The Safari Lounge with @jaebonesmusic and the whole crew involved in creating this incredible experience that was the Sutra Sunrise Festival.

I’ve been to a lot of festivals, but this whole experience was one of a kind; I don’t think I’ll ever attend a festival with the same eyes again.

Thank you to the whole crew, to everyone who poured so much love and hard work into making this happen. I always knew how much effort goes into something like this, but being part of it is next level.

It wasn’t just about a music festival. It was the community that organised it, helped build it and brought the vibes to the dance floor. The best DJs, the incredible decor, the light spectacle, and all the fabulous people I met while setting it up, on the dance floor and during pack-down made this festival one of a kind.

The highlights were countless but The Safari Lounge with @jaebonesmusic, @jakob.musik and @reelow_ofc was definitely in my top 3, the vibes were unbeatable.

Sutra Sunrise festival was truly one of a kind.

@chloeonlights your magic was also 1 of the top 3 highlights 🤩

I’ll treasure the memories and every incredible soul I met, forever. 🧡

Has anyone ever pointed out something about you that was so obvious to them, but you’d never even considered it about yourself? That’s what happened when my friend Vivi told me that what’s obvious to me isn’t obvious to everyone else.

She was right, since I started posting these videos, so many of you have messaged me saying you related, felt inspired, or were going through something similar, and that reassurance is what is pushing me to continue posting this Long Story Long series and making it easier to be vulnerable here. Thank you all for also sharing your stories with me!!

It’s true on a smaller scale as well. Nobody really knows what’s going on in our lives. A couple of friends I went to dinner with a while back, and more recently, told me they had no clue about some down moments and health issues I had last year, that I seemed to be doing so well and living the dream life. And sometimes I was, but sometimes I wasn’t, and it was quiet the opposite feeling to be honest.

Ever had someone say exactly what you needed to hear, exactly when you needed to hear it? I’d had friends say to me before, “What’s obvious to you isn’t always obvious to everyone else,” but I wasn’t receiving it the way I did this time.

One of the tools that’s actually helped me through the ups and downs is something I learned at Vipassana, saying in my head, Anicca, Anicca, Anicca. That’s literally how Goenka says it at the beginning and end of the meditation sessions. Anicca is a Pali word that means Impermanence. It sounds so simple, but it shifts my brain from “what the fuck is happening” to “everything is constantly arising and passing, it won’t last for ever, keep a calm, balanced and equanimous mind and it will pass”.

But now I will also hear Vivi’s voice in there asking, where does this feeling even come from.

Save this one for next time you need reminding that whatever you’re going through, it will pass. And you can sit with it, but you can also dig down and find out where it’s coming from and why it’s happening.

Imagine the joy of finding out she was actually filming instead of taking a photo. Amiga ILYSFM.

Asked for a wide-angle shot of the cliff. You delivered every angle, the best hype, the best laughs, and a memory I’ll treasure forever. Honestly can’t stop watching this.

If you have that friend too, you’re as lucky as I am.

Ups and downs aren’t the problem. It’s what we do with them.

Asking where they came from is actually an exercise I had never done with this particular topic, now so obvious but just like my friend Vivi said, what is obvious for some is not obvious for others.

This was the first time I actually traced those thoughts back to when I was bullied as a kid.

Is there any thought in your head today that you haven’t thought about tracking back to where the root of it is?

Part 2 coming soon....

Coming home nowadays has a slightly more special feeling, don't get me wrong, I still love traveling, but the excitement to get back to my space is bigger than the holiday blues.
Some friends say that it could be because my home is also in a holiday destination. And yes, it is a dream place to come back to. But I used to get the holiday blues even when I was already living here years ago, and so a friend said “it is maturity” so I will take it 🤣 I am maturing!

Welcome home, Chibaria style, abundance of food, love! 🫶

Turns out the bandana era isn’t over.

Spring’s here and so is the summer wardrobe. And some of you were asking, but just like most cool piece of clothing I have, it’s from Brazil, this is from the amazing @lojapanuu 🤩

Wait wait, don’t get took excited, that was just a little taste of what is to come. Get the jacket and scarf back on girl!

Officially diagnosed with a hand fan addiction this week, but these are only the favourites that made it on display.

The face of someone that again, missed the buss stop, walked a lot to get back on track, arrived late for her appointment and still didn't get the problem solved. But she had a fun walk around the city, and saw some trees between buildings.

This morning commute had to own a place in this feed cause the daily stories are not enough. 🤩

“Trees again, she must be tripping and falling everywhere if she is always looking up.” Very accurate, she indeed is!

Dates & Peanut butter is a non-negotiable in this household.

“Why use the standing desk when you can uncomfortably work from the floor sunbathing from the window instead.”

Getting out of your comfort zone doesn’t feel graceful in the moment.

It feels like this, shaky hands, heart racing, and sometimes you just blank, or all thoughts start racing while wondering if this would make sense to anyone or actually make any difference if you posted or not.

But then you do it anyway, because who cares and the alternative is staying exactly where you are.

What’s the thing you keep finding an excuse not to hit record on?

It might not make sense, there is no beginning or ending, and I got lost in thoughts, and I am posting it anyway, cause this is the whole point of this, getting out of my comfort zone, have fun with no actual plan, while seeing success in the mistakes too.

And make mini Amanda proud. ;)

What would make your younger self proud today?
