POSTS STORIES REELS

IF YOU HATE ROTATING YOUR PHONE!!! Utanisamehe bure tu. Unfortunately not every reel is best viewed vertically. Sometime you have to change your perspective or even move around a little, in order to truly see, understand and appreciate visual art in its entirety.

I’m so blessed to be able to travel to different parts of Tanzania, exploring incredible places, this is just the beginning more to come in due time.

Locations:
1. Arusha (Gran Melia)
2. Morogoro (The Highlands)
3. Zanzibar (Stone Town)
4. Kisarawe (Pugu Hills Nature Reserve)

The best part of this trip wasn’t the places it was the people. by @amani.ringo

Dahhh!! I was told “on a yatch” and I thought they really meant it. Let’s just call this practice.

Working on this project was a very exciting experience for me as a DOP. Shooting a fully studio-based music video with a built set was something new, and it pushed me to think more intentionally about framing, movement, and how the visuals interact with the world created on set. It was a chance to explore how cinematography can shape the feeling and rhythm of this song while working closely with the set design to build a complete visual space.

I’m grateful to have worked with one of Kenya’s most talented artists, @njerae and to collaborate with one of the biggest music groups in East Africa @umeastafrica . Being part of a project at this level was both inspiring and a great learning experience.

Big thanks to the entire crew. Everyone brought their energy and creativity to the project, and together we created something special. Proud of what we made!

It’s out now, link in my bio, check it out!!!

I’ve climbed three mountains so far, and only conquered two. Ten years ago, Kilimanjaro was my first real test, and on summit night, it reminded me just how small a person can feel against nature’s greatness. I didn’t make it to the top, and that unfinished chapter has followed me ever since. It still whispers to me in quiet moments, reminding me of the peak I never touched.

But I’m not someone who accepts defeat. I don’t surrender. It’s simply not in my nature. Every setback plants a seed, and this one has grown into a promise I made to myself: before I turn 30, I will return to that mountain (I still have 3- 4 years). I will face the cold, the altitude, the silence, and this time, I will rise all the way to the summit.

Just a reminder this is not 🇰🇪 this is 🇹🇿

Who would be willing to join my quest to conquer this mountain?

Most of us dream of getting away, exploring new places, meeting new people, and stepping outside of our daily routines. But somehow, the trip never happens. We get caught up in planning, waiting for the perfect moment, or convincing ourselves we need more time, more money, more certainty.

But here’s the truth: there will never be a perfect time. Life doesn’t wait. The longer you put it off, the easier it becomes to never go at all.

So what’s really stopping you? Fear of the unknown? Worrying about things that might never happen?

Let go of the overthinking. Pack a bag. Book that ticket. Even if it’s just a short getaway, the experience will be worth more than any excuse. You don’t have to have everything figured out, just start. The best adventures happen when you take that first step. My first step is @goldentulipstonetownboutique

What’s yours? Let me know in the comments I’d love to know.

2024 has been an interesting year so much growth, so many adventures, great highs and terrible lows, non the less we made it to the end of another year. I am very thankful for all the lessons God has taught me this year. I’m grateful for friends and family that continue to support me, encourage me and motivate me. I love each and every one of you! Praying for an even more successful 2025. God bless each and every one of you in whatever even capacity you have been used to propel my work forward. Cheers🥂🎆
