I respect hard work.
I know the oilfield rhythm. The leaving. The coming home. The constant adjustment in between.

And I also know this…

I’m not waiting around for life to change on its own.

I’m building something that creates more time, more freedom, and more direction, alongside the life we already live.

Not instead of real life.
Not instead of hard work.

Alongside it.

And if you’re a woman who feels that pull for something more, while still honoring the life you have, you may understand exactly what I mean. 🤍 by @amber.rooted

For a long time, I thought this was just how life had to look.

Work hard.
Wait for more time.
Fit life into what was left.

But something in me kept saying… there has to be another way.

Not by walking away from real life,
but by building alongside it.

I’m still in it.
Still showing up.
Still doing the work.

I just see things differently now.

If this has been on your mind too…
maybe it’s time we talk 🤍 by @amber.rooted

I used to think clarity had to come first.
That I needed to see the whole path before I moved.

But some of the clearest direction has come after I took the step.
After I got quiet.
After I stopped standing at the edge of the life I kept saying I wanted.

I’m learning to trust direction more than perfect timing… and more than speed. 🤍 by @amber.rooted

Apparently, lying on a vibration plate making ridiculous noises while your dog questions your sanity counts as a good time. 😂

Sometimes you've just gotta laugh at yourself.

Life is serious enough already. 🤍 by @amber.rooted

Apparently, nobody told her Labradors are supposed to run, not bounce. 😂🦘

Found this old puppy video and I still can't get over those little hops!

Anyone else have a Lab who came with a few unexpected features? 😂🐾

We spend years working to afford the things we love.

And then we barely have time to enjoy them.

I have chickens I've actually considered giving up because there never seems to be enough time.

Gardens I didn't plant this year.

Art supplies sitting untouched. Projects waiting to be started. A holiday trailer that doesn't get used nearly enough.

And a husband who spends so much of the year working away, only for me to be stuck working when he's finally home.

Here's the thing.

I don't regret working hard for any of it.

I just don't want to spend the rest of my life being too busy to enjoy the life I've worked so hard to build.

And I'm not willing to accept that this is just how life has to be.

Because what exactly are we working so hard for if we never have the time to enjoy it?

I'm curious. What's something you've worked hard for that you wish you had more time to enjoy? 🤍 by @amber.rooted

We worked hard for the life we have.

And somewhere along the way, we realized that having all the things we worked for means a whole lot less if we don't have the time to enjoy them.

The spontaneous adventures. The ordinary Tuesdays. The moments that turn into memories.

Because at the end of the day, what's the point of building a beautiful life if you're too busy to live it? 🤍 by @amber.rooted

You can have a good job, work hard, do everything you're supposed to do… and still wonder if there's another way.

Not because you're afraid of hard work.

But because you'd like some of that hard work to build something of your own.

That's what caught my attention.

I wasn't looking for another job. I was looking for a way to create more choices with the years ahead of me.

And when I discovered a business model I hadn't understood before, I decided it was worth learning.

There's work involved. New skills to develop. And a whole different way of thinking about what's possible.

But here's what I keep coming back to…

What if the effort you're already capable of giving could go toward building something that creates more options for your future?

That's a possibility I wasn't willing to ignore.

And if you've been wondering whether there's another way too, I'd be happy to show you what I'm building.

Just send me a message. 🤍 by @amber.rooted

What a show and what a great turnout! 🎆🔥

One year. 🤍

October 31, 2025, I started building my online digital franchise.

I didn't have it all figured out. I didn't know everything I was going to learn, the people I would meet, or the places this decision would take me.

I just knew I wanted to create more options for our future.

More time together. More freedom to choose how we spend our days. More opportunities to enjoy the life we've worked so hard to build.

And what a year it's been.

I've learned a lot about business, but I've learned just as much about myself.

I've stepped outside my comfort zone, found myself in rooms I never imagined being in, travelled to Portugal, and met people who have helped me see what's possible.

I'm still building. Still learning. Still showing up.

And I think that's something worth celebrating.

Because a year ago, I didn't know where this road would lead.

Today, I know I'm glad I took that first step.

Here's to year two. 🤍 by @amber.rooted

Some months remind you just how beautiful the ordinary days can be.

The changing colours, country roads, afternoon walks, and little moments that make you stop and look around.

October, you really did show off this year. 🍂

Anyone else wish fall would stick around just a little longer? 🤍 by @amber.rooted

Who decided we had to choose?

Between being grateful for what we have and wanting something more.

Between working hard and making time to enjoy life.

Between loving where we are and being curious about where we could go.

I love the simple things. The dogs, the country life, getting my hands dirty, spending time with my husband.

And I also love learning new things, meeting new people, travelling, and building something that could give us more choices down the road.

One doesn't have to cancel out the other.

I don't want to escape the life I have.

I want to keep building a life I love living.

And maybe that's the whole point. 🤍 by @amber.rooted
