Stop fooling around and grow up and actually work for what you want and I know okay??? I’ve been busy). Anyway got it at target and it came in a box. You only live once. Alex gave me some milk for it. Thank you Alex. Jessica didn’t help at all (pretty standard). Going to dinner tn with SOME CUTIES and most likely going to order pasta so stay on your toes guys… 🍝🍜 by @ameliesayspasta

I outdid myself tonight. After a long Spring Break spent going to the chiropractor (10/10 recommend after an accident btw), I’ve been itching for some pasta of course. Now, I’ve been expanding my palate a little bit and am trying to be less of a picky eater (not that I was before but we have to eat more things than plain ole pasta and caesar salad). So I threw some random Mediterranean-esque things in here and created what lies before you. While maybe I used too much lemon (admitting my faults), this still ate down. Maybe it’ll help me power through my sightsinging assignment or maybe it’ll just give me acid reflux. Or maybe it’ll convince me to get matching tattoos with Will and Jensen of a division sign. When one door closes… multiple doors open and you stand at a crossroads. Have no clue how that relates to this post, but art doesn’t need to make sense if it has intention? Right? Until the next noodle… (or pearl couscous thing)… 🍝 by @ameliesayspasta

Happy Monday pasta lovers. It’s the start of a new week and the addition of yet another pasta post. I’ve been slacking, but I’ve recently heard that the people who yearn are the ones who earn. I could easily end this post by saying this is couscous I made last night. But that wouldn’t explain all that this dish meant to me. After spending six hours traveling from Gulfport, Mississippi, this weekend, I needed pasta more than ever. Not only was I busy with competition but I was ready for a home cooked meal. I threw some red onions and peppers and garlic and lemon and more random stuff in there to make it taste good or whatever. I’m finding that the secret to all good dishes is not knowing what you’re doing. All successful journeys lead you astray, but it’s how you problem solve and focus on the end goal. Making this pasta (yes couscous is pasta I asked the internet) was my quest after a long weekend and I traveled through the mountains, through wind and rain, through fire and ash, in order to finish it and make it. I heavily enjoyed it but burnt my finger on the pan. Which is funny because I burnt my fingers this weekend on Liz’s curling iron. So my hand is now on some Anakin business.
