Bentley asked me to make visible what no one ever sees.
The human body calming down.
In collaboration with @ac3studio for @bentleymotors, an immersive experience for the Bentayga EWB launch in Shanghai.
The concept : transform each participant's biometric data into a personalized visual work.
They arrive. Put on a smartwatch. Meditate.
Then step alone into a 3x3m projection cube.
In 90 seconds, their stress, their breathing, their heart rate, translated into particles, density, light. Generated in real time by Notch, fed by TouchDesigner.
Nobody sees the same particles. The cube is a mirror of what happened inside the body.
Not live. In visual memory.
A QR code at the end. A personalized trace of their meditation to take home.
Data isn't cold. When translated into visual matter, it becomes intimate.

3 sequences projected on the Arc de Triomphe.
New Year's Eve 2025. Live international broadcast.
One minute of content. Hundreds of thousands of people watching live.
This is what generative AI looks like under real pressure.

"Immersive" is on everything now.
A room with projectors. A panoramic screen. Lights that change color.
That's not immersive. That's decoration at scale.
The distinction nobody states clearly :
An immersive installation envelops the audience. They receive. They contemplate. The work exists without them.
An interactive installation transforms the audience. They act. They co-create. The work doesn't exist without their presence.
Not a difference of degree. A difference of nature.
FRAGMENTS is the second one.
LiDAR, 3D cameras, motion sensors, mapping in real time the position and movement of each visitor. Notch and TouchDesigner translate that data into generative visuals. Ableton Live into evolving sound design.
You enter. Your presence awakens light particles. Others arrive. A living network forms between you.
Without visitors, nothing. With them, something that will never exist the same way twice.
The warning : interactivity without artistic intention is just gadgetry. What separates an interactive installation from an attraction is the question the work asks.
FRAGMENTS asks one :
What connects us to each other without us seeing it?

December 31st, 2025. Hundreds of thousands of people on the Champs-Élysées. Live international broadcast.
3 sequences. 1 minute of content projected on the Arc de Triomphe. Entirely AI-generated.
Part of the New Year's show created by @avextended, directed by @jeremiebellot.
No room for error. The date doesn't move. The monument doesn't move. The TV broadcast doesn't move.
In that context, AI is not an experimental tool. It has to be controlled, predictable and deliverable.
The pipeline I built for this :
Two custom GPTs for prompting. ComfyUI + Seedream for image generation. Kling AI for animation. DaVinci Resolve for final composition.
Every tool had one precise function. Together they formed a coherent chain.
What this confirmed : generative AI is ready for high-stakes productions. But only if the creative behind it knows exactly what they want.
The artistic vision stays entirely human. AI doesn't replace the eye. It accelerates the execution of what you've already imagined.

I left the Arc de Triomphe with a frustration.

Not failure. A limit.

I had just played 2 hours of live mapping on a listed monument. Alone. In real time. In front of hundreds of thousands of people.

And on the way back, one single thought :

What if I also had control over the music?

That night, EVOLV was born.

One artist. On stage. Controlling live music and projected visuals on a monument simultaneously. A note played that bends the stone. A visual that gives birth to a sound. Architecture as the fifth musician.

Five movements. From Genesis to Unison. Solo up to ten musicians. Handpan, guembri, flutes, strings, voice — woven with electronic textures. Generative visuals reacting to every musical gesture in real time.

Every performance is unique because it’s played. Not broadcast.

The first edition belongs to Toulouse. On the Basilique Saint-Sernin. A UNESCO facade that has been waiting for light.

Spring 2027. by @aminerachad_studio

2 hours on the Arc de Triomphe. Alone. Real-time.
13 projectors. A monumental surface. And a choice : pre-render everything, or play it live.
I chose live.
Pre-rendered mapping means weeks of production, a fixed result, and zero flexibility. Once it runs — it runs. If the crowd shifts, if the DJ accelerates, if the moment asks for something else, the content plays anyway.
Real-time means the pixels follow your hands.
I could hold a composition for 15 minutes, evolve it, break it, restart. The image responds to what's happening, not to what was planned three weeks before.
There was no technical sync between the DJ and my visuals. Just listening. Adapting in real time to where his set was going.
That's what real-time actually means. Not just a technical feat. A form of improvisation.

ENG:
Visual creation for choreography.
Invited by the @ichtah company, I designed a video projected during their show in Rabat during the African Cup of Nations on 31 December 2025.
The work is based on the choreography itself: particles, flows, visual materials designed to match the movements, accentuate the gestures and reveal the energy of the dancers.
A study in which the visual becomes movement, and movement becomes image.

FR:

ENG:
These images tell a different story than technology or artificial intelligence.

They speak about architecture as a visual language, light as a living material, and the human scale facing a monumental structure.
They show how the Arc de Triomphe becomes, for a brief moment, a shared space between an artwork, a city, and hundreds of thousands of viewers.

A monumental projection mapping is not only about what is projected onto the façade.
It is also about light moving through the air, crowds in motion, and the night embracing the scene.

And finally, it is about the photographers’ gaze that preserves its memory.
Thanks to Nokerhy, NikoMagnus and Geoh Photo for capturing these fleeting moments.
