Magic isn’t always big or loud. Sometimes it’s sitting on the floor, talking, listening, and creating a moment that makes someone smile ✨ Moments like these are why we do what we do.

Heartfelt care can begin with something as simple as reaching for someone’s hand. 💜

For children facing serious illness, care is made up of so many people, each bringing something important to a family’s experience.

At A Moment of Magic, our role is to bring joy, connection, imagination, and genuine human presence into that circle of care.

Heartfelt care is taking the time to learn what makes a child laugh. It’s listening closely when they want to tell you something. It’s noticing when they want to play and when they simply want company. It’s celebrating their personality, interests, ideas, and everything that makes them them.

It’s understanding that caring for a child means making space for their emotional well-being alongside their physical health.

That’s why we train our volunteers to enter pediatric spaces with intention, empathy, and the ability to adapt to each child and family they meet. The character may open the door, but it’s the relationship formed on the other side that matters.

That’s what heartfelt care looks like to us. ✨

No matter the kid, we’ll always show up to spread a little magic. 🪄💜
Showing up matters. Whether it’s sharing a laugh, playing a game, or simply being there, every moment has the power to bring a little joy. ✨
And the best part? The magic goes both ways. 💛 Interacting with these kids is just as magical for us as it is for them. Every smile, laugh, and memory reminds us why we love what we do.
We’re so grateful for every opportunity to show up, spread magic, and make a difference. ✨🪄
