Excited for this opportunity! Let’s do this!! đŸ’Ș @300hardway @realjoedesena @zraz @frank_sepe by @ampedmama
I ran UNDER WATERFALLS!! đŸŒŠđŸƒâ€â™€ïž My friend invited me out to Oregon to run a half marathon. When I checked out the course and saw that it went through a beautiful state park and under several waterfalls, I was sold. Sign me up! And the race did NOT disappoint. Gorgeous scenery, an incredible course, and an experience I won’t forget anytime soon. Even better? I got to run part of it with my bestie from elementary school đŸ„° And my daughter ran through the finish line with me! ❀ Waterfalls, running, and time with two very special people. Doesn’t get much better than that. Memories were made! 😊đŸŒČ by @ampedmama
Vulnerable post. I skipped some workouts this week. Then I beat myself up about it. Then I went down a little spiral and started focusing on everything I wasn’t doing right. It was a stressful week, and I think my mind was feeling it—both consciously and subconsciously. I wasn’t sleeping enough, my eating wasn’t great, and overall, it just wasn’t a great week. This morning, I was supposed to run 10 miles according to my training plan. I sat down at breakfast with my husband and proceeded to list every reason why I shouldn’t run today. Maybe I won’t be able to finish my half marathon in October. Maybe running just isn’t for me. Maybe I should take the day off. Yada, yada, yada. He listened. Then he asked, “What if you just ran one mile?” I said, “No.” But then I thought
I could probably do one. So I put on my running clothes and set out to run one mile. Just one. Then I did another. And another. And I just finished 10 miles. They were not easy. I didn’t suddenly become motivated, and I didn’t have a positive outlook while I was running. In fact, my motivation was approximately -352 today. 😂 But I kept going—one mile at a time. It was slow. It wasn’t pretty. But it’s done. And now that it’s finished, I’m really glad I pushed through. I need to remember today the next time I have a tough day. I don’t always need motivation. Sometimes I just need to start with one mile. by @ampedmama
This little girl is my biggest cheerleader. đŸ¶â€ïž I did a 10-mile run this morning and decided to break it into 10 one-mile loops. I left some water at the mailbox so I could grab a drink after each mile. And every single time I jogged up to the mailbox, guess who was waiting for me at the door? My sweet girl. đŸ„č Seeing her there waiting and watching made me smile every single time. And when I finally finished, she celebrated by jumping up and licking the sweaty salt off my arms and face. 😂 Dogs really are the best. She’s definitely one of my biggest fans, and I love her to death. ❀ by @ampedmama
Beautiful run this morning. ☀ đŸƒâ€â™€ïž by @ampedmama
I never pictured myself as a “I run five miles on Thursdays” kind of mom. But I guess I’m becoming one. I finished five treadmill miles this morning. Treadmill runs aren’t my favorite, but they still have a place in my training. I gave myself a different challenge today, too: no music, no podcast, no TV, no distractions. Just me and my thoughts for five miles. It wasn’t always easy, but I actually enjoyed the quiet. It’s funny how the little things you do consistently start to shape who you are. I’m slowly becoming the kind of person who just
runs five miles on a Thursday morning. #project300 by @ampedmama
The last day of Project 300 was on Sunday. It took me a few days to reflect on the experience. At the beginning of the year, my word was Ascend. I wanted to climb. To reach new heights—not just physically, but mentally and personally too. Looking back, I think I did ascend... at least in some areas. But then I started asking myself a different question. How did I ascend? Consistency. I consistently woke up and worked out—even on the mornings when all I wanted to do was hit the snooze button. I consistently paid attention to what I put on my plate. There were plenty of slip-ups along the way, but every meal was another opportunity to make a better choice. I consistently asked questions, listened to advice, and learned from others. The Project 300 community was an incredible source of encouragement, accountability, and knowledge. Thank you to everyone who shared your experiences and helped me grow. Most importantly, I consistently put one foot in front of the other, day after day. After 200 days, I realized something: consistency changes you. It’s not one amazing workout. It’s not one healthy meal. It’s not one race or one great week. It’s the decision to keep showing up—even when you don’t feel like it. So if I had to choose my word now, it wouldn’t be Ascend anymore. It would be Consistency. Because consistency is what helped me grow. It’s what made me stronger. And it’s what will keep moving me forward long after Project 300 is over. Thank you to everyone who encouraged me, challenged me, and walked alongside me on this journey. Keep showing up. The results will follow. đŸ’Ș #project300 by @ampedmama
Let’s stay in shape so we can say yes to life. The kids want to take the paddleboards out? Let’s do it. A bike ride to the park? I’m in. An impromptu conditioning workout for football? Count me in. I don’t want to be someone who only does my scheduled workout. I want to be ready for all the unplanned adventures that come with life. That’s why I train—not just to get stronger, but to be able to do all the things. See you out there. 🌊 by @ampedmama

Happy 250th Birthday, America! đŸ‡ș🇾 What better way to celebrate than with 250 burpees? đŸ’Ș I didn’t do them all at once. I chipped away at them throughout the day—outside, inside, by myself, with my husband, and even with my dog keeping me company. đŸ¶ Happy Independence Day! đŸ‡ș🇾 #Spartan250 #spartan #project300 #strongmoms by @ampedmama
Actual temperature: 94°. Feels like 105°. Hot. Humid. Gross. I decided the treadmill was the better choice today. I haven’t been training in this kind of heat, and I wasn’t interested in seeing what happens when I try. Four easy miles done. Not the most exciting run, but it got the job done. And I still got that post-run feeling that makes it worth it. Maybe I’ll save the heat training for another day. by @ampedmama
Day off from work.‹Kids are at camp.‹Husband is at work. What should I do? Go to the trails, of course! Spent the morning running through the woods on a beautiful day. Sometimes a little solo time in nature is exactly what the soul needs. đŸ˜» by @ampedmama
